    rimfire benchrest fundamentals

Cuzz, that's some fine 50 yard shooting. You're trying to wring every last .1 out of your groups! If I had to guess, it's the MPA chassis on the bag. They make a bag rider accessory for a reason. Chassis guns can be skittish... https://masterpiecearms.com/shop/mpa-ultra-bag-rider/

    rimfire benchrest fundamentals

Vertical stringing tends to be action screws (rear), velocity or rear bag management. If you're squeezing the rear bag you can unconsciously change your grip as you pull the trigger. How consistent has your ammo velocity been?

    Help with watch and backpack.

G-shock with the solar cell... I’ve had one for 10 years. No issues. Pack. Vertx Gamut line. I’ve used a Gamut for about 4 years. Traveled extensively with it. Used it for day hiking in Switzerland, Spain, Norway and all over the US. Low profile. You won’t stick out for being too tactical.

    Impressed with the Bergara B14R

Sorry, I should have proof read a bit. Have you done a 6x5. That is, 6 5-shot groups at 100. It's a great measure for the consistency of a rifle. I'm sure jbell would love to add some B14R stats to the 6x5 thread. 6X5 Thread V4.0 *new 1/1/20*

That's nice work at 100 yards. Have you don't a 6x5 with it yet?

    T1x 50 vs 100 yards

The T1X is capable of doing better than 2 MOA. In stock for don't expect a 1 MOA average, but you should be in the low 1's (1.25" ish) at 100 with good ammo. That's about where my T1X settled in. Read through the T1X thread and pay attention to what Littlepod has to say. He's done a lot of...

    Rimfire Targets

The swing pretty good at 150-200. As the center wears, sometimes when you center punch the target at distance the reaction is minimal. Overall I've been pleased and will continue to use them, along with steel.

    Rimfire Targets

https://newboldtargets.com I shoot newbold targets at ranges from 10' to 250 yards. I currently have targets from 1.5-8" at 100, 125, 150, 200, 225 and 250. All newbold targets. Overall I really like the newbold targets. There is no splatter or ricochet, they hold up really well and are...

ELR 22lr Ammo - Cutting Edge

It'll certainly be interesting to find out. I think in the not too distant future, @RAVAGE88 will be able to shed some light on your question.

    Ultimatum Deuce 22LR

If you've strolled over to Lilja's FAQ page you'll find this comment about RF barrel life... "The best life can be expected from the 22 long rifle barrels with 5000-10,000 accurate rounds to be expected. We have in our shop one our drop-in Anschutz barrels that has 200,000 rounds through it and...

Well, when I flew Huey’s in flight school we did autorotations to the ground. So we touched down at rates of descent that were less than 500 FPM. In dual engine aircraft, specifically Apaches and Black Hawks, we train to terminate the maneuver to a hover. So we enter the auto, get into steady...

It depends on GWT and rotor design, but no. I would consider 2000 fpm slow. The UH-60 auto-rotational chart gives about 2000 fpm at the optimal (90 Kts ish) airspeed. Above or below that airspeed, rate of descent only goes up. In training I’ve done in excess of 3000-3500 fpm on initial entry.

There are VFR flyways in and around the LA area, but in degrading weather TCAS will only help so much. At some point the pilot has to commit to IFR. VFR to IFR (IMC) kill many pilots. If you've never experienced it, you have no idea what an uncertain 60 seconds that can become. I've heard a...

Talk me out of a 457 Varmint

No. I have both. The magazines are better on the CZ and the 457 is a nice rifle for the money. Unless you're saving for a Vudoo, I'd say get a CZ… preferable a MTR.
