    If it were me I’d want violent rapid expansion. And no chance of exit/overpenetration. Vmax comes to mind 30 cal is good at a lot of things. Stopping in a target at those ranges isn’t one of them. I’d be looking at a 22-250 with 55s.Loaded at a moderate level would not murder your barrel...

    22-250 with light bullets is gonna feed like ass… fast twist 22-250 AI or 22 creed for 75-88s. You can fireform your 22-250 brass into 22-250 AI or 22 creedmore bass. I would do a 22 creedmore I have a 6 creedmore gap 10 and if feeds flawlessly…with any type of ar10 mag.

    That’s why I said indoors/CQB is the only time I find it to be necessary…. And even then should be avoided…. Going prone in a room or hallway is rarely advantageous 🤣🤣

    I use a strap wrench and a dab of blue Loctite on my direct thread mounts. Both of those that I speak of are AACs converted by EcCO.
