The Arken Optics SH4 Gen2 6-24x50mm would serve you well. At $449.00, it’s a no brainer. There is a coupon running right now for $100 off of that. “GoBrandon” will get it to you for $349.00!! Then you can get the Halo rings for $60!! All
That for under $500!!

My rifle was leaning against my tailgate, and the rifle fell when my door was shut. The scope made contact with the concrete, and the eyepiece broke.

I have had several sets of caps from Aadland. They are my favorite cap by far. The only issue I have had, was with a cap breaking on my Vortex Gen2 PST 3-15. I never even bothered to email Jon about it.

I will throw out another vote for the Arken SH4 in either 4-16 or 6-24. For the rimfire, I would lean more to the 4-16 with the additional elevation available. Either way, you won’t regret it!

In staying with SWFA, to do what you are talking about doing... the 12X is the perfect one out of the bunch! FOV and eyebox is good. Quick zoom parallax to cover all the ground you are wanting to cover quickly. It's a Win-Win there.

The other aspect of this build will be how much of a budget bean counter it can be. Based on a custom chassis and custom barrel, even with that it’s gonna be a very cost effective setup!!

If this rifle was going to be anything other than a hunting rifle, I would opt out on the Accutrigger. I like the safety blade aspect of the Accutrigger and my clumsy ass fumblings around!
