Rifle Scopes Worth upgrading from LRHSi?

They both lock. If I'm not mistaken the Delta Stryker is the same basic optical formula as the Razor G2 as both are made at LOW. Paging @koshkin to confirm. [EDIT: I was incorrect as the esteemed @koshkin relates below. Will leave the original text up with a strikethrough.]

Rifle Scopes Worth upgrading from LRHSi?

I too have multiple LRHS scopes and finally got a step up with the Delta Stryker. It is noticeably clearer (particularly with mirage) I prefer the reticle and floating center dot over the G2. Turrets are better too. Overall, I am very pleased and feel this is a true step up.

    Night Vision Sionyx?

So I have a pair of Aurora Sports and then bit the bullet and bought a Photonis PVS-14. Being in Canada, NODs are quite a bit more rare than in the US and we are technology limited by ITAR. My thoughts on the Aurora are as follows: With sufficient ambient light or supplemental IR lighting...

Night Vision Splicing Unity/TNVC Taps to a non Steiner/Mawl laser. It works

I believe the guy who did some surgery on his cables on ARFCOM ended up having to run two wires into a single lead as the third wire is a signal to the Perst indicating the rotation of the rheostat on the switch.

Night Vision Splicing Unity/TNVC Taps to a non Steiner/Mawl laser. It works

If I recall correctly the Perst family are three lead wires because of the rheostat on the remote switches. Please post lots of pictures!!

Night Vision Headborne and rifle setup questions

Cool. Post up how you like it please. For now I'm good but always looking for options. Might as well have a list of things to buy if the confiscation happens.

Night Vision Headborne and rifle setup questions

If it comes to that I might go down that route. In the interim, I have a j-arm and a surplus Cadex mount that are working fine for me. I'd rather get my hands (legally) on the better, future-proof option. And I would rather reward the creators for their work rather than some knock off...

    Headborne and rifle setup questions

A few hypothetical questions for the experienced here. If you are going to answer, please consider that this is my reality and it may not be yours and what I have is what I have and I don't have the ability to get more at the moment. I'm in Canada, so...

Definitely need to get out and do some night hiking to get competent with the system. Thanks all for the replies.

Night Vision Headborne and rifle setup questions

That would be great news. I've heard that Wilcox mounts are EAR and not ITAR, but there is a great deal of uncertainty on this side of the border and a very string financial incentive to err on the side of caution on your side of the border. I've got an email in to Mod Armory to see what they say.

Night Vision Headborne and rifle setup questions

All, Thanks for the replies. A lot to digest for sure. From a context perspective I'm assuming more of a 1992 LA riots scenario rather than a complete apocalypse scenario, so basically just get someplace isolated and survivable and wait out for things to calm down. Have comms sorted so I can...

How to repair long rips in nylon fabric ...anyone have any experience with this? (building a rifle range cart).

Yeah, on the seam you have few options and patching isn't likely to work. Get it to a sewing shop.

Not off the top of my head. Just thought it might work. Quick look on Amazon found these that might do the trick: https://www.amazon.com/Wrights-BDX230-008-45-Bondex-Patches-Pkg-Light/dp/B005DNOQ3G
