    Well, that sucked.

I don't see anything worth saving there. Personally, I would trash it and move on.

    Bergara issues

If it's really shooting large sample size groups well at 100 yards, it should also shoot the same MOA sized groups at 200 yards. It's not an issue with the rifle or the load. A large extreme spread in velocity won't show vertical dispersion until several hundred yards out. It could be...

    Cleaning for Carbon

I had an older 6.5 CM barrel that still had some life left in it with a carbon ring. I let it soak with Boretech for a while, but patches did not do anything. Because it was an older barrel and I had little to lose, I chucked up a bronze 30 caliber brush on a section of cleaning rod in a...

Question about potential throat issue on brand new Accuracy International replacement barrel, pic's attached

This borescope is an Amazon special. I spent the rest of my money on ammo. It's all I have. I did punch the bore, that's after. It is definitely tooling marks, there are five of them that look identical where each groove starts near the throat

Question about potential throat issue on brand new Accuracy International replacement barrel, pic's attached

I just received a replacement barrel for my Accuracy International AT-X from a reputable vendor. I have not shot the new barrel yet, or even installed it. The original barrel is well over 3,000 rounds, while it is still shooting acceptably well, I realize I'm on borrowed time as I shoot a lot...

    6.5 Creedmoor

I used to always load 140's with RL16, but I have moved to Berger 130 Hybrids and H4350. In my 24" AI, I get about 2,910 FPS with 130's vs. 2790ish with Berger 140's and RL16. Both group extremely well and have similar velocity consistency. However, the 130 performs much better down range...

    LPVO-second focal options

Razor 1-6 is a benchmark in the SFP LPVO category. It's unbeatable for the price in my humble opinion. You have to spend considerably more to get something marginally better. Sig Optics are a pass for me, you have to sort through the overwhelming majority of overseas garbage they make to find...

LMT Barrel conversion review and accuracy report, before conversion vs. after D Wilson conversion

I have both the 10x and the 6x Razors. I see very little difference in the eyebox. The 10x does get tighter above 8X for sure, but at 6X they seem identical to me. The resolution and brightness on the 10x is outstanding, it's at least as good as the 6X at the same power. I think the 6X is...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

Does anyone know if they will sell me just a barrel? I'd like to buy one

SAKO SELECT PROGRAM (TRG 22 & MORE)

Connor, I bought my first Sako TRG 22 from you guys about 15 years ago, it's an absolute hammer. Euro Optic used to sell Factory Sako TRG ammunition in 6.5 CM, specifically with 136 grain Lapua Scenar bullets. I haven't seen you guys or anyone else carry that specific ammo in a long time, but...

    6.5 Creedmoor

I just opened my last 8 lb container of rl16 today. Like you, I was getting close to 2,850 in a 24" AI without reaching book max. I use Berger 140 grain hybrids and Lapua brass, I've had the best results between 2,770 and 2,800. Going to finish tweaking this load tomorrow, this new lot is a...

    6.5 Creedmoor

I use a lot of rl16 and h4350 with 6.5 cm. The velocity thing is definitely true, however, I also find rl16 to be less temperature sensitive. However, both are great in this department. H4350 is definitely cleaner than rl16. I get similar accuracy with both using 140s.

Geissele Cut Rifled SPR Build and Barrel Evaluation. (Part 4 (Load Development 28MAY25) Update!!!

I haven't seen much difference with cheap 55 - 62 grain ammo when shot with a 1:7 vs. 1:9 twist. I've shot a lot of this ammo through many different AR barrels, I'm sure other people have as well, everyone's experience is different I'm sure. That said, I believe the rate of twist is the least...

Geissele Cut Rifled SPR Build and Barrel Evaluation. (Part 4 (Load Development 28MAY25) Update!!!

That's exactly what mine is, 1:7.7 gain twist 223 Wylde. I hope I never shoot this thing out, it is the most accurate AR barrel I've ever had, Bartlein barrel from Craddock

Geissele Cut Rifled SPR Build and Barrel Evaluation. (Part 4 (Load Development 28MAY25) Update!!!

The powder charge I use varies based on the brass I use. Initially with Lake City brass, I was using 23.7 grains with the Berger 73's set at 2.252". I have since switched to Starline 5.56 brass which seems to have slightly less case capacity, so I have adjusted to 23.3 grains. I actually...

Geissele Cut Rifled SPR Build and Barrel Evaluation. (Part 4 (Load Development 28MAY25) Update!!!

I'm not sure if you have any IMR 8208 on hand, but that powder with Berger 73's is the best shooting combo I've ever tried on both of my primary 5.56 AR's.

LMT Barrel conversion review and accuracy report, before conversion vs. after D Wilson conversion

Yesterday, I shot at 636 yards with this rifle, it was one of those rare days where there was very little wind at my house. I am so impressed with this rifle/barrel, equally impressed with the vortex 1-10. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make accurate hits at distance with this type of optic...

    I Spy New Baby Razor G3 4-24

I might have missed it, but when do you think these will be released? Looking for new scope for my LMT 6.5 20", this checks all the boxes

    XM7 worries from the field.

I agree with all of that. Also, lots of government contracts are worded in a very specific way that provides favor to a very specific firm. I'm not saying that's necessarily what happened with either the pistol or the rifle programs, but it would not be surprising at all. If there was no...
