    Best flashlight

I carry a streamlight protac 1L daily. Got from work, Feel naked without it. Only downside is short battery life. I get batteries at work, so it doesn't bother me too much. It replaced a stinger that I no longer use.

    .308 Winchester

Looking to replace 175 SMK over to 185 juggernauts in my 24" 1-10 .308. I currently run imr 4064. What's everyone's preference of powder for the jugs? I've seen lots of re-15 and varget. I have a pound or two of both. Anything out there more promising?

Photos weld bend test i just did

Had my 3G and 4G DOT cert in high school, got 6G shortly after high school working construction in steel mills. Haven't welded for a living in 10 years, but it's nice to have something to fall back should the need arise.

    Load work up?

I get that the ladder test won't be very accurate at 100 yds. I was more checking for pressure signs to get a starting point. I've seen most people seem to have good luck around 42 grain. I've heard that fgmm is anywhere from 41.7 to 42.8. With the ocw test you look for which groups the best?

    Load work up?

I'm trying to do some load workup for a 700 sps tactical .308. I used new lapua brass, neck sized only. Imr 4064, 175 smk and fgmm 210 primers. I started at 38 grains and worked up to 43 in .5 increments. I loaded one round each weight and shot them at 105 yards. It's the farthest I can get...

    .308 bolt difficult to close

I was recently having a similar problem. I had a few reloads that were difficult to close the bolt on. it turns out I was not bumping the shoulders back enough. I got a case headspace gauge to double check my cases. youll need a FL sizer to bump your shoulders though, if that's your problem.

    .308 coal?

I haven't sized anymore brass, went back to work today. I will try again Saturday, I have a case headspace gauge ordered from sinclairs. I use lee case length trimmers so all my brass is the same length. I had my sizing die set up to where it just touched the shoulder, so I'm thinking maybe I...

    .308 coal?

I guess I wasn't bumping them back far enough, making them hard to chamber.

no. the oal length is 2.806. I didn't have the comparator with me, and couldn't remember off the top of my head. now that im home the ogive is 2.175" sorry for the confusion. it almost has to be something with the caseings as all the bullets are seated within .002 of each other.
