    22 Creedmoor Varmint Rifle questions

I don't think they are too much, and I'm sure guys do well with the heavier bullets, but the 60 weight class bullets are a good medium for speed and energy in my experience. Plus, I stay with H4895 that way too, I might have to try a slower powder if I increase the weight.

Accessories TL3 extended rails for clipon

I set up another of my TL3s in a LRH stock. I was ringing my steel prairie dog to 250yds with ease.

    Ti3 sidechick!

Finally got around to having the rails cerakoted I had Zermatt make for me. In the mean time I have got trigger time behind the Sidechick I had bought here. She's a tad heavier than the MDT hnt26 but it has the options I was looking for. The reciever is drilled a little different than the TL3...

    Shooting Music Mix

I turn down the music so I can read traffic signs.

Accessories TL3 extended rails for clipon

Here they are, I had these rails made by Zermatt for clipon thermal usage. These are Cerakoted and use existing rail screws. They are made of aluminum and depending on the thermal, there is a support screw that can be used, just snug it to the barrel and back it off a 1/4 turn. These are 0...

    22 Creedmoor Varmint Rifle questions

I have 7.5, 10, 11 twists. My favorite and easiest to load for was my 10 twist. But if Bartlein had a 9 twist in stock for their carbon barrels, I would have gone with that for the mid weight bullets.

    22 creed bullet options

I run 60 vmax, a buddy runs 60 TMKs, both are terrific to anything under 400yds. I don't hunt windy nights or shoot long distance outside of a mil to mil and half hold. Makes things aweful easy.

Night Vision Voodo S vs Iray RH25

It's more money, but I don't regret it at all. I bought the battery extender for mine so I run 1 16650 battery and I get a good 5-7 hours on one alone. The Iray uses 1 18650 but it doesn't last as long by a short bit, but that could be inconsistentcies with batteries, but that was during the...

Night Vision Voodo S vs Iray RH25

I have both. The Iray does a really good job up to 3x or so before it pixelates. I like a lot about it, it also does a good job as a hand held with good detection. The Voodoo punches above it's lens capability. I have zero worry about grabbing it. My zero stays the same with or without...

    1-8x recommendations

Atacr is quite amazing. I have 3, they are daylight bright and act as a red dot on lower power. It is better than my gen3 1-10 despite the lower top end magnification

Night Vision Daytime scope for LR clip on

Wait for the March FFP 1.5-15, and the nx8 2.5-20 works real good with my TigIr

I need to procure a lightweight hunting rifle for next year, what would you pick?

For versatility and weight and all the great qualities, the Zermatt Ti3 titanium action is tremendous. And the fact I can still use my TL3 barrels with it make it a no-brainer for me.

Preferred 22 RF Reamer For PRS

The "tried and true" chamber is the Old 52D. I have a Bartlein rimx barrel that started out way too tight, recut it to a 52D and it chambers great, ever so slight resistance on the bolt, and hammers with a lot of ammo that's available these days

Where Did My Wildcat Plans Go Wrong

Can't you have the reamer reground? I've ordered stock reamers and had it shortened by Manson (creedmoors in 6mm and 22 for varmint bullets). You'd have to set the barrel back 2 threads which is, what I'm told, is standard. Or, just see if it shoots to your liking as is and don't worry about...

MDT HNT26 vs XLR 4.0 Mag

I have both. I love the MDT more. The mag release is easy and pops the mag free great. The MDT is also slimmer and since I run thumb over or "forward", the MDT is easier and more comfortable to do so. A modified MPA grip changes that tho. I haven't decided if I will sell the XLR or not, but...

Best binoculars for reading license plates

I have a set of 10x EL, and the 12x Pure beat them. True, I haven't tried the 56mm Swaros, but I would have to try them side by side to really know. But the Pure are also sure easy to hold steady even at 12x. But I for sure struggled to hold my Meopta 15x..

Best binoculars for reading license plates

I have a pair of Swaro pure 12x...simply the best I've ever looked thru. My Zeiss are great, but for the best image, the best to me are those 12x

Night Vision Eotech ELR and Bering SY-Cii photos.

I have the TigIr, Voodoo S, and RH25. If the Tig had a focus, it would be supreme in my mind. But for shots out to 250yds, the voodoo is my go to every time. If I was in the wide open pastures and fields, the Tig might get more use but in Iowa, and closer range stuff, it's not hard to have...

Night Vision Suppressor heat signature in thermal scope

My Nox 18 does it terrible. I love the wide image so it's a trade off. It goes away once I zoom in once tho
