    I can’t stop eating!!!!

Look up and try a 7 day water fast. It helps to "reset" your body. It helped me.... It's not easy.

    Hmmm……6,000 us marshals

Approximately 4,000 deputy U.S. Marshals and criminal investigators form the backbone of the agency. And you don't get "called back".

I want to try and put my perspective on this. I don't know Mike. I have been around guys like him for a long time, I am not one of them just served with them. Secondly, for a time I was a police officer who arrested and delt with these situations..... Guys with Mike's back ground are very...

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Yea I have one of the original rifle's from when they were DTA. I got it in 2011 time frame and struggled with the 284. I gave up on that cartrige. A buddy of mine and I are going to the NF ELR we both have the DT A2 versions in 300 PRC and its been great. I am probably going to see about...

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

I have a 284 in the DT. I could never get it to feed, so I gave up on that caliber in this platform. I think the rebated rim and magazine interface was the issue

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Barrett uses a lot of thread locker on their factory barrel and extensions conversions. Marc at Spartain Rifle can easily take it apart and cut you a new barrel no matter what caliber you want (within rifle specs). The system is pretty basic - a barrel extension - bolt - and locking nut. The...

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

I'm thinking 1700rds on the PRC. But depends on how hard you push. I use Lapua brass and everything has been easy for load development, finding components, etc. 300NM costs more with a bigger hit to barrel life. I like to shoot the 308 barrel and then swap out to the PRC for long range days.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

I am in Idaho with lots of BLM land available and am able to shoot reguarly out to a mile with the 300 PRC. I felt the 300PRC was the best balance between between price and capability. The 300 NM can beat the PRC but not by a whole lot. I look at the PRC as a 300 win mag improved and I shoot 220...

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

As mentioned above the other three extensions are different. They are made to ONLY take the same size bolt it was shipped with. You can not put a .470 bolt in a .540 or .585 extension. You can take a .470 and use it in another .470 extension. I think Barrett did this to make the gun GI proof...

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

I wanted to weigh in on the MRAD barrels my MRAD is CJ0019XX. Best I can tell and have been able to verify with my own extensions and one from a friend of mine. Barrett has four different barrel extensions. The original extension from the large bolt designed MRAD (friends gun .585 bolt) up until...

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread I had the same issue especially with sweat here in the humid southern summer so I bought several roles of rubber/neoprene and Pachmayr’s Pac-Skin. The Pac-Skin seemed to work the best, did not allow my sweat to interfere with a cheek weld...
