    Never worried about the 300 for quiet, was always looking for 30 cal punch from a compact rifle. Truth be told, from a semi auto, it isn't all that quiet anyway.

    A) Annex now has thumb screws that are quick-er release B) Brilliant point on the ability to put the Annex on a QD riser - as long as you have the same height on the optic, same same. I think/hope the thumb screws are an adequate fix.

    Super expensive is relative to purpose and frequency of use. If you're gonna use a dot and like the 1-4x concept, hard to beat if the glass is good.

    How is it more master than the Comp M5? I've had a T1, T2, and Comp M4s, Comp M5 and kept the M5, sold the rest. But, all I do is kill pigs and occasionally other animals. Do enjoy the M5 with the original Aimpoint 3x, that is what rides on my house rifle.

    I was so happy with my results earlier this week, I went back to do a little more shooting. The Blackarc Munitions 110 Gr Barnes black tip makes about 2,170 FPS out of an 8" Craddock Precision stainless barrel.     I bought a SWFA SS 20x fixed and while the eyebox is 1/117", it works fine as a reference scope.

    I have an EO Tech, Vortex micro, and the original Aimpoint 3x full size grenade looking thing, and I use the ol' big heavy aimpoint on my favorite 556 - eyebox, clarity. The 3X's are otay by comparison but the old school AImpoint biggun is great glass.
