    For now it will be going on a 14.5" SR-15 Carbine. It will also spend some time on a SR-25 ACC once my *other* NX8 shows up. I'll order the ATACR at some point for the SR-25s.

    Best out there to who, and for what? I'm pretty sure the target market for the NX8 and ATACR 1-8 is .mil/LE. I don't see many photos of guys overseas running Swaros on their working rifles, or CONUS on LE patrol rifles. Pretty sure that there will be plenty of photos of NF 1-8s in both settings...

    I spoke with KAC directly about this at SHOT, and I should have one of the pre-production 6.5 uppers headed my way to play with shortly. They are seeing group average hovering in the .7's with factory Prime 130 ammo.

    It will be an 8 MOA dot. 8 MOA at 1x , 8 MOA at 4x, 8 MOA at 8x. So imagine an Aimpoint T2, but 4x as big.

    Do you need illumination? If so, get the PST. If not, pick whichever one offers the reticle you like the most. I didn't care for my PST Gen II 2-10 or 3-15, and I think the Leupold has better glass, but that's just me. I hate that huge elevation turret on the Leupold.

    I’m not Frank, but I have a hunch that if it’s 8MOA at 8x, it’s still 8MOA at 1x. That’s kind of the point of a FFP reticle.

    Rifle Scopes MK12/SPR Optic

    Leupold Mk6 with the C2 turrets is good to go. Avoid the B2 turrets. If weight is a concern then the Leupold is pretty much the only game in town. I’ve run one for two years now, not “off a bench” either, and it has been great.
