Pelicans/Hardige Storm cases are indestructible, but HEAVY....and then you probably are going to want to add a gun and accessories which makes them un-toteable. Use several 1750s and have three 1770s for custom Barrett M107A1 configurations. They are bulletproof especially for gorilla airline...

Shooting Gloves for Hunting in Cold, Wet, Windy Shitstorms?

I have several nameless cheapie gloves, some actually from WallyWorld, in both fingered and mitten styles with slits in the palms that allow one or all fingers to be extended for shooting or other fine dexterity functions. They have Thinsulate or Primaloft insulation and are waterproof...

Shooting Gloves for Hunting in Cold, Wet, Windy Shitstorms?

Appears you're probably a young smart ass that hasn't lived long enough to experience your body starting to break down. Poor circulation makes body parts cold even in summer heat. My Mom would sit in her closed car in direct summer sun trying to get warm. Try a little understanding. You'll...

This this vintage caliper set acceptable for measuring case dimensions?

Have multiple Mitys identical to yours and they perform perfectly. It is a precision instrument. It is not a hammer or pry bar. Take care of it. Treat it with care. It will serve you well.

    Best "combat" boots?

Every single pair of Rocky manufactured boots have had the soles fall off the boot. EVERY PAIR!!!! They make a great upper but , from my experience, they can't stick them to a sole for very long. Don't have a clue regarding soles on boots. And, they DON'T stand behind them. First were...

What magnification range scope for .223 AR.........

Military generally considers 1x per 100 yds about right. But, most of those users have young eyes. My really old store bought eyes generally prefer having the option of 2x per 100 yds. Can always dial down to handle mirage, etc.

    Angled vs straight spotting scope

I find angled to be more flexible in various spotting applications. Spotting steep angles uphill is easiest with angled. Some find locating the target more difficult with angled until they become experienced with angled design. Generally, straight requires scope to be physically higher in...

How do Solo Shooters Figure Out Where Their Shots Went?

Proper recoil management is critical. USSOCOM trains recoil management, running the bolt, and getting back on target to spot own hits. In the interim learning phase, try a cell phone recording through a spotting scope; spotting scope camera to tablet screen; or a range target camera with...

While I'm lacking your .260R, with 7 MRADS across the full rainbow of Barrett hues, including the newer MK22, I can second your caliber experiences, and add experiences with the MRAD in 6.5CM, 7mmRM, 300PRC, 300NM, and 338NM. Never had any groups over 1MOA with different loadings performing...
