    338LM is a "C" family mag. 300NM and 338 NM are both new "D" family mags. Therefore, the MK22 Deployment kit contains 10 identical "D" mags per Joel Miller, Barrett Global Military Manager on 6/12/20.

    Think that is the MRAD SMR (Single Mission Rifle)...non-change barrel and non-folding stock. 98B was predecessor to MRAD, now discontinued, and replaced as SMR at $4995 versus full MRAD at $6145.....best $1150 up cost for change barrel and folding stock.

    MRAD Bag RiderSKU: 18799 in black only is available in Barrett store at $75.00. It will be slightly long for the civilian MRAD as it was designed for the MK22 Mod 0 stock, but will work on any picatinny rail.

    Think you are referring to large breech and small breach. First roughly 1100 or so MRADs were a larger diameter bolt. The large breech requires a breach kit about $400 to use later small breach caliber conversion kits. Large breech barrels are identified by two cross clearance cuts (slots)...

    Try Boonie Packer Safari sling. You won't be disappointed. Great flexibility, and only about $30. Beats all other sling designs. Been using similar concept since military. Originally concept from Viet Nam era grunts.

    Have the 26" 338LM; 20 and 22" 308 all fluted. The 26" is really barrel heavy. But, don't plan on clearing structures or humping mountains any more. :) :) :)

    The small hole...about 1/8" dia..... at the start of the crack would be good......stop the crack stress progression over time. Then, work the repair epoxy into the hole and finish. No one will be the wiser....except everyone in your apartment complex... :) :) :) "Aw shits" happen.
