    Warmest winter coat

They may look nice but they are not that good for staying warm. I sold my bridge coat and gave away the pea coat. Last time I wore one, I froze my ass off standing around fleet landing for beach guard in Tasmania in the middle of winter. We didn’t have the option of the polartec parka and liner...

    PortaJohn

Why are all these rich folks from Democratic states moving into your state and messing it up? Because you jackasses care more about making a buck than preserving what you have. Don’t be surprised when a China owned resort opens in a few years...

California Assault Weapon Law Ruled Unconstitutional

Unfortunately, nothing is going to change. They will keep playing judge versus judge for years.

The roads in Utah are not bad as they salt the piss out of them all winter long.

The one major downside to living in some of these more remote areas is access to better medical care. Might not be much of an issue when you are younger but if you need any kind of specialized or advanced care, you won’t find it in a small town. Even in Cheyenne they kept sending my father down...

If you are looking for new in Cheyenne, you need to move up the budget. There are several older homes that fall in the 3-4 range but they are going to need some work.

Cheyenne is not what it once was and it’s starting to fall inline with other problem areas. I was raised there and get back a few times a year so it’s easier to see the subtle changes over someone that is there full time. I would recommend the north half of the state but not so much for the...

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

I was in a similar situation where I live. The only option I had for 4x4s in my area where treated. I built one bench and when I went back about a year later to build a second one, the price of wood and materials almost doubled. I used 8” screws in mine and I think that was the most expensive...

    Building the Perfect Reloading Room

Nothing wrong with using treated wood unless you plan on licking it. It does not give off any harmful gases and is only mentioned as a concern if you rub the wood and then rub your eyes or you rub the wood the with your fingers and then stick them in your mouth. If it is a major concern, use...

Military Trannies don’t have to deploy.

Easier to leave them behind than try and create accommodations for them on deployment.

    Carry belt

I use one from Hanks Belts (extreme belt 1.5”). While they have a 100 year warranty, I won’t need it for that long :) I carry a full-size 1911 in a Galco FL 212 holster with a 1791 dual mag carrier. Belt is great at holding everything in place...
