    Interestingly enough, the bullet energy calculator shows 561 ft-lbs for these high speed lightweight 78gr projectiles. In comparison, my 230gr Federal HSTs running 890fps compute to 404 ft-lbs.

    I have been noticing that for 9mm in a 1911/2011 platform, a 4.25" barrel and slide length work out better. The lighter slide just seems more responsive and settles down quicker for double taps. Every 5" 9mm 1911/2011 I've ever run feels sluggish in comparison.

    It could be they are both correct to a degree. They may not have a functioning nuke bomb on hand just yet, but they keep on enriching uranium way beyond the purity than what's needed for simple electricity generation.
