    Well ... I bought some "new" stuff from Steiner that were clearly used ... they did replace them ... but Steiner/Burris Colorado knows what they are doing when they do things like that ...

    What a JOKE! I’m sorry OP. Burris/Steiner seems to not care anymore much at all. Such shame. Used to rely on Steiner for my high end optic needs.

    Well. You can always get a RCA adjustable gas key … works great on my AR15 … I don’t think you’ll have an adjustable gas block with that WC barrel …

    I think instead of using precision machining your gunsmith used the old button head screw and cutting compound to put a crown on … that is just sloppy.

    My Criterion M118LR barrel has been amazing. It is such an awesome barrel. I have the rareish 22” rifle gas with the hybrid profile … starts out at 1.2” and tapers to .800” … nitride, 1:11 twist. This is what XM80c shot out of it … 5-shot group … cold bore … SLR gas block with a YHM R2:

    I guess my question is ... what is WC thinking spec'ing out a gas tube this way ... makes no sense ... it just further confuses AR10 builders ... So is WC using Armalite gas length specs?
