Zero Compromise Optic 2023 ZC527 MPCT2X and 10 MIL Turrets

Maybe crossover wasn't the best word. What I like about the reticles I mentioned is that they seem to be designed to draw your eye to the center of the reticle. And the FML TR1 has longer hashes out to two mils which makes holding over into dead space easier. The MSR 2 is similar in that regard...

    Biggest SHOT surprise so far.

They probably would if you called ahead.

Zero Compromise Optic 2023 ZC527 MPCT2X and 10 MIL Turrets

Whoops, sorry about that. Something similar to what Frank and Ilya have already done, like the FML TR1, or the ZF MRi. Or an MSR2 minutes the ranging portions and add a dotted grid. I think glassaholic called them crossover reticles.

Zero Compromise Optic 2023 ZC527 MPCT2X and 10 MIL Turrets

Would you consider having someone like Frank Galli or Ilya Koshkin design a reticle for you?

    Biggest SHOT surprise so far.

You ought to try the bone in rib eye at Panevino while you're in town.

You mean like the MR4 that already exists?

    BigJimFish 2023 Shot Show Blog

Maybe check out the new Schmidt and Tangent scopes. Arc just released a new action... I doubt Tom Myers will be there, but if he is, it would be interesting to see if he brought his new Mod 22 tactical triggers .

    Wind holds in reticle?

Everyone and their mom uses wind holds to hit distant targets in the wind.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Are there any plans of discontinuing any of your other actions? It looks like you have four actions that are aimed at the same tactical rifle market.

    To chassis or not?

There's nothing wrong with practicing with your rifle. I wouldn't worry about upgrading it. When you feel like you're ready to really up your game, buy a custom Remington 700 type action. This will give you the most options down the road. Some can be had for very reasonable prices.

    Defiance action new costs?!

I haven't tried the Vampire. Mine is a BAT TR from SAC. The bolt will bind if I try to bind it, otherwise it's very smooth. I guess it depends how the actions are spec'd as well. I'd imagine if you tried a BAT benchrest action, it would bind quite easily, but the tactical action I have is nice...

    Defiance action new costs?!

Which action are you referring to?

    Best oil for preventing rust?

Me either. I usually leave mine scattered around the living room and on my bed.

    Defiance action new costs?!

I let this guy at the range with an Impact try my BAT. I felt sorry for the guy because I actually saw regret sweep over his face after he cycled my action.

    Defiance action new costs?!

What other company did he bankrupt?

Precision Rifle Gear OPS-CORE NFMI plugs only

Same experience with the Howard Leight MAX. My ear holes have gotten looser after all the penetration. Why don't these ear pro companies just fill their earmuffs with lead? I'll get used to the weight.

Tangent 5-25 or new Schmidt 6-36

Reticles are certainly very personal. I think on paper, the FML-TR1 and the Zeiss ZF MRi are the best tree reticles I've seen.

Precision Rifle Gear OPS-CORE NFMI plugs only

You're right about their website. It's a pain trying to sort through all the different types of plugs. Ill try a few from your list. The ear soft ones aren't advertised for gunfire, but if they reduce noise in the proper frequency, they should work. I'll give them a try as well.
