    IDK how the 458s are so (relatively) cheap right now. They are like 200ish whereas the 458 Speciales are like 500 and there’s not THAT huge a difference between them, performance/sound wise.

    That type of stuff exists in industrial analysis as well. Things like calibrated cameras that can auto-focus and use the focal set-point to measure distance very accurately.

    You haven’t addressed my point at all. One of your two claims has to be a lie. If you were tightening the screw with “barely any pressure,” it cannot possibly be stuck so hard in the metal.

    There’s something odd going on here. You said this happened when you were tightening the screw with “barely any pressure.” Yet after it broke off, the screw appears to be so badly stuck in the chassis that you can’t even get it to twist out with pliers. One of those statements has to be false.

    I get the argument for this but it’s not worth it to me. I want a ZCO, TT, or ATACR on my ELR guns and I don’t want or need those on my 6.5 Grendel AR or my squirrel .22.

    Geissele makes it but I don’t know if they sell it to the public. I think it’s made on the Geissele Defense side. Edit: honestly it’s probably easier to just mount it on a side rail and turn the display than to use that chonky thing.

    Problem is I keep my Raptar on a different gun that has a ClipIR-ELR. I’d have to buy a Voodoo-M for that gun which I don’t wanna do. Hopefully they make an MRF cable at some point. 😭
