    Night Vision Safran TAD

I’m not certain of that. These aren’t sitting on shelves all over the place, there is only one retailer and devices are sent to TNVC in batches. If you order one today it probably hasn’t been built yet. When they send the next batch to TNVC the devices are almost certain to have the new firmware...

    Night Vision Safran TAD

Yes so far mine has not had the glitches since the firmware update. However I haven’t run it hard yet. But the glitches were showing up all the time previously so this is already a big improvement.

    Night Vision Safran TAD

I agree with you mostly. It is nothing new in this industry for a manufacturer to make overly optimistic claims about new product release dates. The Holosun Iris took a year to arrive. The Eotech OGL was announced 2 years ago and you still can’t buy one (a civ one anyway). It does annoy me that...

    Night Vision Safran TAD

I’ve gotten burned plenty of times trying to be the first kid on the block with a new toy. Maybe someday I’ll learn.

Night Vision Skeet IR-L as a clip on

Thermals are expensive and it’s hard for people to justify buying an 8yo unit out of warranty with no manufacturer support, even if it’s solid. I’ve had trouble selling my TigIR for half of MSRP even though it remains a very competitive unit compared to chinesium stuff that people happily drop...

Night Vision Skeet IR-L as a clip on

3x is probably doable but not much more. The Skeet-L just isn’t a great clip-on.

Night Vision BAE UTC-X vs EOTech Clip IR ELR

I would get the ClipIR MkII and never look back. It’s a lot smaller than the Mk1.5 and has the same performance, plus has a 10yr warranty, available new, and much greater recoil rating. If your budget is 12k the Mk1.5 is still great and available under that secondhand.

    Night Vision Excelitas Thermal Optics!

Anyone have hands on with these units yet?

    Night Vision Safran TAD

Interesting. Maybe mine had a trace of that but nothing as bad as you show in the video. Then again I virtually never use full thermal.

    Night Vision Safran TAD

I didn’t have big issues with the autocal before so I haven’t noticed a major change.

    Triggercam 2.1+

It just mounts with the controls on the left of the ocular instead of on top, I’m sure you can imagine what that looks like. Turn a regular Triggercam 90° CCW.

    Night Vision Safran TAD

Mine is fixed as noted above.

    Triggercam 2.1+

I heard back from Labradar, officially the 2.1+ will fit down to a 40mm ocular with the included collars.

    Triggercam 2.1+

Labradar site has them (they are distributors). I haven't purchased yet because the site implies it will ONLY fit oculars 48-51mm in size. Does anyone know if that is true? I have also sent an inquiry back to Labradar. I don't want to buy this to use on my ZCO and then find out I also have to...

    Coach Gun Advice (12 Gauge)

The CZ locks up solid and opens far enough that you can just point it skyward and the empty hulls drop out to the ground. They are like $1k on Gunbroker.

    Coach Gun Advice (12 Gauge)

Never saw this thread when original but I’ve been rocking this CZ Hammer Classic sawed-off for years. It is a hoot. I even had the trust engraving done in fancy script to match the vibe of the gun.

Night Vision IRay RH25 Micro video/picture thread

Shoot video and then just screenshot the best still frame.
