    Yeah I haven’t found the limit for constant-on battery because I’ve never approached it. I turn the radar off between strings and my range sessions take, like, maybe 20-30% off the battery at most.

    Alfa was never known for good engine designs lol. That 33 Stradale has a 2.0L flat plane crank V8 with a 10,000 rpm redline. I’m sure it was unreliable as hell but I bet it was absolutely glorious when it ran.

    That is one weakness, I wish there was some kind of indicator that it is booting up so you don’t just sit there wondering why it won’t turn on when it’s already running on 3 Brightness. I guess maybe turn up the brightness to 25 before turning it off each time but that could be jarring next time...

    Yes having a lot of extra brightness can be useful. I was running it at 12-14 last night but streetlights would overpower it so in a bright environment you would need to crank the brightness way higher. You also can’t run an iris very tight with it since it blocks the center of the objective...

    OK ran it for 10 minutes just now and the “light leak” is definitely gone. Will take longer to monitor for power or menu issues. It also seems that maybe the latency has improved slightly although that might be my imagination.

    25 is nuts, I was running 12ish. Mine arrived back from Optics1 this evening along with a trucker hat, multiple T-shirts, a bunch of stickers, and a branded pen, along with an updated user manual. Very impressed. Will try to run it soon and report back.
