Post your sub sonic .308 loads?
200 grain Maker REX, 16" Rem 700. 9.3 grains of Titegroup nets me 1061fps (avg) I use a small bit of cotton batting to keep the powder compressed against the primer. This is a hodgdonreloading recommended load- wvfarrier

I have been on a rampage with 308 Win lately. 195 Sierra TMK Big Horn Origin with 20" barrel Varget (hot) CCI #450 Small Rifle Primers Starline Small Rifle Primer Annealed Several of these loads shot amazingly well but all were compressed and well over book max. #1- Averaged 2605fps and .30" 5...- wvfarrier

Discard cold bore shot?
I did a search but came up empty. When you are shooting to test load development, do you discard your cold bore shot? I ask this because I have noticed that my proof CF 308 barrel has a tendency to send the first shot almost 2" up and left from the rest of the shots. It is so consistant...- wvfarrier

Pouring a 30"×40" concrete pad on top of concrete floor?
When I did mine we drilled some long concrete bolts into the existing slab and left about 4" extended above the pad to secure the new pad. It has worked great, its been 15 years and is still rock solid.- wvfarrier
