    2.875" (max length for the MDT mags is 2.88). I tried varying lengths from 2.88 to 2.85, this seems to be the sweet spot.

    Just as a heads up....Shellshock released their 308 binary cases for sale today. Ordered 250 to play with, if they work as advertised itll be a hoot. They are less expensive the Alpha and Peterson.

    So I laddered 24 rounds today. Zero issues with recoil but these were in the 30-06 range. Ramshot Mag- 180gr TGK at 2778 shot .30" (most accurate) 195gr TMK at 2750 shot like crap so going to speed them up to 2800 and see how it goes. If that fails I will switch over to H1000.

    I worked up to 2850 with the 175gr Nosler CC's. Super accurate with single digit SD's. I backed way off after seeing how far I could get. My active load has them running 2775.

    A quick search shows that in Cali the redistricting would require a state constitutional amendment as their law requires "non-partisan" districting.....for whatever thats worth.

    I suspect its due to the amount of powder. I may add a heavier stock....something like my MDT ACC instead of the krg bravo

    I tried some 178 ELDs and 180 TMKs at 2750-2800. Those were MUCH more mild than the 225s and relatively easy to shoot. Weirdly still more recoil than the same load in 308 Win. That being said, totally manageable for the 24rd string I shot today. Easy on the brass as well.

    I am using Alpha brass. I tried Fed, Win and even Starline SRPs. None could take it.
