    LMT .308 MWS

It’s a nice stock. Much lighter than other versions of the PRS. It does install over a carbine or A5/ LR308 buffer tube.

    Barrel threading

It depends on what is being done to the barrel, but generally, it's not wise to chuck up on the CF portion of the barrel.

    Barrel threading

This would be easy enough to fix by turning down the damaged section and leaving the intact section. If you’re having trouble finding someone to do it, I’d be happy to lend a hand getting it repaired.

I've used lots of SL and SLS stocks on my guns. I think the SL is a simple stock for a AR15, but the SLS has a slight bit more heft to it, so I think it makes more sense to put in on AR10's. As for grips. I do like simple MOE grips. They feel nice in my larger hands and they are cheap. Some...

Changed the threads today from 3/4-24 to 5/8-24. I didn't like the way the flash hider looked, so I re-threaded it and switched to a cherry bomb.

    I currently have a Sandman K on my 16", but might switch to a sandman S if I do a 14.5" barrel.

In my opinion, they are both very nice optics. Better field of view with the Vortex, less fisheye at low power with the Atacr. I do prefer the illumination function and reticle on the Atacr though.

1-8 ATACR came in. Have to get to the range to sight it in before the LMT event in Florida in two weeks.

20.5 oz vs 12.1 oz for the titanium one.

It seems to be, I pulled it out today because it was filthy and everything wiped clean with minimal effort. There wasn’t a spec of wear after well over a thousand rounds by now.

Yes this is possible on DI barrels. It is not possible with Piston barrel though since the gas port is in a different location. Another position is to use a BRT EZ-tune gas tube. https://blackrivertactical.com/WP/BRT-EZTUNE-Gas-Tube-LMT-MID-p148504128

I could use some advice on a semi 6.5cm

Yes, complete and functional gun weighs that little. Combination of the carbon barrel, lightening cuts to the upper, and titanium BCG have really cut down on overall weight of the gun.

I could use some advice on a semi 6.5cm

My vote would be an LMT MWS. My 6.5 shoot under 0.40” groups with factory ammo.

If I build a 14.5", it's going to have a steel barrel to sustain more than moderate rates of fire.

You don't have to twist my arm. Just have to find a barrel blank and reamer.

Decided to build more of a battle rifle setup with my post sample lower. Currently has a 16" 308 barrel in it, but I might make a 14.5" 6.5CM barrel for it one of these days. I think it's going to get a NF Atacr 1-8 on top.
