    No issues that I've experienced. I regularly shoot 40+ round strings at PRS style matches without issue. Granted If I started doing full auto mag dumps, then there would likely be issues.

    I don't know know if you are interested in a carbon fiber barrel, but it's hard to beat the results of my 22" Carbon Proof Research barrel shooting factory loaded Hornady 140gr ELD-M.

    They work great. I have the gas turned down so it cycles nice and soft. Someone actually asked me today what buffer setup I was running and honestly didn't know until I looked in the gun. Turns out I tossed an H3 in there at one point, so I'll have to get a much lighter one and turn the gas...

    I think it's a nice design. My only gripe is the wonky threads on the 300 blk versions. They use a very odd jam nut and collar setup that seems to be an unnecessary complication.

    Haven't shot it yet. With the steel bcg, it had a standard spring and H3 buffer. I'll likely ditch the H3 for something lighter and turn the gas way down. I need to dig through my parts drawer to see what I have and figure out what I need to order to dial in tuning it.

    What lower parts to use in a new build

    For my personal stuff, most mil-spec LPKs are fine. I usually always put a G trigger and Badger selector in most of my guns, so finding a reputable place to find a mil-spec LPK works for most guns, since I don't buy into the fancy and often un-needed mag releases, take down pins, etc.

    I mainly do AR barrels. But can also do odd-ball stuff to if you can't find someone.

    Couldn't leave good enough along. Still tinkering away with my MWS. I got the while hair up my butt I wanted to try to shave 1 lb from the gun using a variety of methods. Some more invasive than others.
