Feeling the need for a 6.5 Creed...moor. Recommendations please.

I got a tac a1, after shooting it for a year I just couldn't get used to the chassis so I sold that off and pick up a Manners T4A here. I like it better than the chassis but to each his own.

Feeling the need for a 6.5 Creed...moor. Recommendations please.

I like Tikka and Begara, my Tikka is one of my favorite rifle's. If you have the cash Begara Pro is the way to go.

Feeling the need for a 6.5 Creed...moor. Recommendations please.

I picked up a Remington 700 ADL 24 inch threaded muzzle sendaro at Field and stream for 450.00 on sale. Trashed the stock for a Magpul Hunter for my grandson. It shoots good, nothing special but something to build on if you're on a budget.

    Bergara bmp

Then look at a tuebor precision action.

    Bergara bmp

I understand keeping the chassis if you like it, but why would you want to get rid of the action? There's absolutely nothing wrong with the bagara action just get it rebarreled and keep rolling. Not trying to give anybody a hard time here, but I don't feel there's anything wrong with the bagara...

    Bergara hmr 6.5 creedmoor

Bergara rifles run a triggertech trigger? If so they are one of the best ones on the market for a single stage I'm waiting for the two stage 2 come out any day

PTG long swept-back bolt handle Remington 700

So there you have it, I think it's gonna work out nicely. Once I get it back from Mile High I'll post pics of it and hopefully a good review.

PTG long swept-back bolt handle Remington 700

So I got the handle and I think I'm gonna follow through with the installation. I'll have Mile High Tig weld the handle in place. Here are some pictures of the before. Pic of up and down, one with old KRG clamp on knob, and my Tikka. KRG was ok but still didn't have a lot of room between handle...

PTG long swept-back bolt handle Remington 700

Just putting this up again, no one has used one of their long swept-back bolt handle's? All I want is a picture of what they look like?

    Tikka T3 Thread

For me it's reach, just puts the bolt knob in a better position.

PTG long swept-back bolt handle Remington 700

So I'm looking for a replacement for my bolt handle on my Remington 700, not sure I care for the badger style knob replacements I really like the longer swept-back AI style handle I have on my Tikka so I did a little research and ran across this from PTG, has anyone had any experience with it...

    Tikka T3 Thread

I went with a 24 but I still get around 125fps slower than my rem 700 with a Bartlein the same length. Lowlight had said Tikka barrels are slow too. That being said go with a 24. I have 600 rounds through my Tikka come time to rebarrel I'll go with a Bartlein but stick with a 24 inch.

    American Rifle Company Mags

I know this is an old thread but this is what I have found. In my Remington 700s , Manners T4A with Badger bottom metal, in 308 and 6.5 Creedmoore the mag will not work. I've replaced the follower and no change. I was ready to trash it until I get a Tika T3X in 6.5 Creedmoore and in a Manners...

The Everyday Sniper Podcast, Jack Master (SH Member) Episode

This is way cool, would lowlight also add his fundamental checklist? This would help me at the range during set-up practice sessions.
