    Forthcoming price increases will help with stocks.. H4895, Varget, H4350 has been on the shelf pretty consistently at some retailers (Scheels) lately. Hopefully price hikes and a seemingly years long stretch of panic buying means inventories will be in a better place for the viht and H powders.

    Is there really that much variance in "repeatability" amongst well made cans? I've only got 4 from 4 different manufacturers but from what I've seen, spin off, spin on, and they hit the same POI as they did prior.

    A quick look at ammoseek has Berger’s at $0.37/ea and ELDs at $0.24/ea. that cost, the BC, and terminal performance is the draw to the elds.

    Buy the Target and if you really want a single stage trigger, i'll send you one and a little extra money in exchange for your 2 stage trigger! Target may not be more accurate but odds are it will be easier to shoot accurately with the extra weight.

    I had a carbon barrel that behaved like that, slightly less extreme. It got gone because there's no reason to put up with that shit.

    If you really want to keep the brass around I'd do a false shoulder to re fireform them. Wouldn't be afraid to jam and fireform them either but I'd think you'd get more case stretch that way. I'd think many shellholder/die combos wouldn't let you bump the shoulder a full 0.020" on a wsm?

    Nearsighted. If I have noticed any changes since lasik, it’s that my up close vision has slowly gotten a little worse.

    Maybe @koshkin or someone similar would know more about this - When setting the diopter on all of my riflescopes, i always end up with it screwed in all the way to get the best outcome. With spotting scopes and binos i always need to have the eye cups screwed all the way in to get my eye close...

    These things look awesome. These and the rings are tops of my options to try next time im buying mounts. A little wider ring spacing on 34mm would be cool though. Seems they are the narrowest of all tube diameters and I tend to avoid the supershort scope sillyness.

    I've seen Huntnful over on rokslide use a phoenix sled bipod for his load dev. Looks slick, not sure its better than just shooting off bags? Maybe a little more convenient 🤷‍♂️

    223 Powder Issues

    I have found throwing benchmark or 8028xbr still gets me SDs on par or better than the ball powders I've tried even if the charge weight variance is a little higher. If H335 and 332 meter as well or better they are probably great options.
