    Single vs 2 stage trigger

I currently have two AR triggers: A Geissele SD-E 2 stage on my DMR styled 18" SPR w/ a Wilson Combat Recon barrel, and Trijicon Credo 2-10x36mm And a Rise Armament LE145 4.5 lb single stage on a 16" barreled, Red Dot mounted AR with about 2.5k rounds through it. No creep, just a crisp pull...

    Seekins PH2 scope base

Scopes that are made to shoot long range but have little elevation adjustment went the way of the Dodo a few years ago. But Burris has always had some quirky ideas. And 1/8 MOA adjustments are something only an F Class shooter would love. In any event maybe try this guy as an alternative. He...

(Concluded) Long-range tactical rifle build recommendations

Why build it when you buy it off the shelf and have it right now?? Bergara Premier Series Comp Rifle And just for example: Bergara Premier Series Competition 6.5 Creedmoor That will leave you enough change to buy some primo optics and a decent Bipod. Just a thought

    Seekins PH2 scope base

I can see where 500-600 yds tops would be attractive with that scope. But a canted 20 MOA base is a no go with only 20 MOA of up & down adjustment, as you use some MOA just sighting in (5-7 MOA on average of total adjustment) because you usually use some left or right windage which takes away...

    Seekins PH2 scope base

alfack, Is that a Burris Eliminator 6 4-20x52mm on top of that Seekins PH2?? If so it has only 40 MOA (20 up and 20 down). No wonder you ran out of adjustment. Sorry, if it is a Burris Eliminator, that is one terrible long range scope, mounted on one beautiful long range rifle. A Zero...

Want a Tikka Arctic but cannot make a decision between 308 and 6.5 Creed

Your not wrong about the 308 Win. It's a magnificent cartridge. And if was the choice between having only one rifle in chambered in 308 vs having only one rifle chambered in 6.5 Creed, the 308 is the right choice every time. However, the only thing you may be wrong about is the composition of...

Want a Tikka Arctic but cannot make a decision between 308 and 6.5 Creed

Maybe he meant Aero AR Platform. So he shoots better than he spells, can't hold that against him.......

    ZCO customer service

It's clear your an asshole Nate. It takes less time and effort to just type out Zero Compromise Scopes than the drivel you posted. Save your google search lectures for some who gives a shit about what you think. I already looked it up before I asked, but what I was trying to call attention...

    Powder unavailability

Powders useful for 6.5 Creedmoor (Never heard of MP651), Small Rifle Primers for same, and any 6.5mm bullets. That's what I went looking for and found bupkis. Perhaps I should have been clearer, but whatever.....

    Powder unavailability

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

I have one on my Sauer Model 100 in 6.5 Creedmoor. It's a fantastic scope for the money. It gives my Trigicon Credo 2-10x36 mounted on my 18" DMRish AR15 a run for it's money @ a $550. cheaper price point.

    16-18 inch shorty rifles

A wonderful looking rifle. Finally a hunting rifle that doesn't look like an appliance dolly. Nothing against chassis for match shooting and the like, but hunting with one just leaves me cold..........

Want a Tikka Arctic but cannot make a decision between 308 and 6.5 Creed

Here you go: "The C180 ammunition in 308 Winchester used by Canadian Rangers is assembled by General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Quebec by pairing Nosler Accubond 180 gr (11.7 g) hunting bullets with Canadian Forces' match (sniper) brass cartridge cases." No powder charge is...

    Shorty 6.5: Creed or x47?

If you have a Creedmoor your not dependent on H4350. You can also use these for top velocities in the Creed: AA 4350 IMR 4350 SW 4350 Reloader 16 Reloader 17 Reloader 19 VV N-555 Hodgdon Hybrid 100 Winchester StaBall 6.5 For bullets, for a short barrel, I would focus on the 123 grain class...

Want a Tikka Arctic but cannot make a decision between 308 and 6.5 Creed

Easy decision. You already have 308's, but no 6.5 Creedmoor's, so buy a 6.5 Creed already. You won't regret it.

Only 18 months too late on the reticle sub tensions for the Credo 2-10x36mm, but maybe it will be useful to somebody.

    best calipers, preferably digital

I've had a Craftsman 6" Dial Caliper for so long, it's about ready to collect social security. Not a thing wrong with a good quality dial caliper, and look Ma no batteries to go tits up on ya when you need it...... You can still find fine used Craftsman on Fleabay for around $50-$60. Or you...
