    Another LPVO thread

That's a different scope 01911: Primary Arms Compact PLxC 1-8X24 FFP Rifle Scope - Illuminated ACSS Griffin MIL M8 Reticle SKU: PA-PLXC-1-8X24F-GRIF-MIL MPN: 610149 This one above is FFP and not quite daylight bright and a useless LR reticle (IMHO) and is the one tested in the video. Primary...

    Another LPVO thread

Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm F1 weighs 17.6 oz. Primary Arms Compact PLxC 1-8X24 SFP 16.8 oz So you were saying about top dogs and weight???

    Another LPVO thread

IMHO. Primary Arms Compact PLxC 1-8X24 SFP Rifle Scope - Illuminated ACSS Nova Fiber Wire Reticle This one above is the best of the bunch: Useful at 1x like a Red Dot and actually useful at 8x for LR stuff. Yes it's SPF, but it's still better than the all other PA PLxC 1-8x scopes with their...

    brass

Lapua, Alpha and Peterson are all good brass. But most shooters aren't good enough to take advantage (and that includes me) of whatever incremental accuracy they may provide you in most gun games. (there are exceptions like benchrest and F Class for example where the smallest group wins)...

    Vortex Razor 1-6 vs 1-10

Not just the Vortex. I've read a number of mixed signals in regards to many 1-10x scopes. Some like them, and many don't. I suspect that a 10x zoom range is perhaps a "bridge too far" with current optic technology. Many suspect that such an optics span introduces as many negatives as it does...

Appropriate scope for a Remington 700P

It came with Leupold MK4 bases and rings. The scope was a great one for 1995. Hint....

    6arc Powder choices

On the latest burn rate chart VV 140 is #112 and Varget is #113, they are very close. Winchester Stable Match is #115.

Appropriate scope for a Remington 700P

The 700P, AKA 700P Tactical Weapons System (TWS) came with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10x Tactical Scope with Duplex reticle & Harris Bipod, all packaged in a plastic carrying case.

    6arc Powder choices

The following data came from VitaVuori. VV Powders are relatively cheap right now. You may want to inquire with them about load data for the lighter bullets you mention.

Rifle Scopes Budget hunting scope cq and small game

I've owned both the SS 3-9x42mm and I currently own the Athlon 2-12x42mm that's mounted on a bolt action 20" 6.5 Creedmoor.. The SS 3-9 is a very nice scope, and very rugged, but the Athlon has a much better feature set, with illumination and Parallax adjustment, and a better reticle for 2x...

Rifle Scopes Budget hunting scope cq and small game

Pretty hard to find an illuminated rifle scope with PA under $600 that's not Chinese. Just saying.

    Which Trigger Company To Use?

I've always used Timney Nickle Plated Standard Triggers, with factory set at 2 lbs. I never felt the need to go lighter for long range use. Square range shooters might like them lighter. They are now calling it the Elite Hunter. Timney Elite Hunter

    Opinions on Abolt 7mm issues

Trouble Shooting 101: Check/Replace/Swap one thing at a time. 1) Check your bedding and action screws torqued correctly & reshoot. 2) Then the scope, replace it with another & reshoot. 3) If that doesn't work swap the ring and bases. And reshoot. 4) If that doesn't work have Browning look at...

    Powder Increase For Accuracy

I'm sorry but the only reloading fool around here is you.......

Have you tested your scopes ability's to gather light?

I rather my scope gather me a cheeseburger while on a deer stand. You can't eat light. Though it is less fattening.

    Powder Increase For Accuracy

My rule of thumb is when building a load: Over 50 grains powder charge use for testing @ 0.5 grain increments Under 50 grains powder charge use 0.3 grain increments Under 30 grains use 0.2 grain increments That's what I use, others may feel comfortable with more or less. IMHO and YMMV
