    It is/was crappy pot metal of some sort. Trigger had been honed by a smith and broke cleanly. I purchased a new floorplate and trigger and it's back like it should be, ready to be zeroed, and maybe raise some whoopass on coyotes this winter.

    They changed the plastic tips, and may have modified the bullet profile slightly to raise the BC. I probably have another barrels worth left. The factory 700 VSSF is still stacking them though, even though the round count has to be north of 1500.

    25-06 powder and bullet recommendations

    I currently have test loads prepared with RL19 and 85 grain ballistic tips. I am hoping to get to the range in the next few days. If these don't have the desired results, I still have a lot of options available.

    25-06 powder and bullet recommendations

    Looking for recommendations on powders and bullets for a 24" barrel 25-06 that will hopefully decapitate coyotes. I would prefer good load density and velocity, and not a lot of speed variation from ~55 to 10 degrees or so. I have a few Reloder powders available 17.19.22,25,26 both 4831's...
