    I am in the US and have been invited to compete in Italy this fall. My understanding is that you need a gun permit to shoot there, but if I have an invite from a match director, they waive that requirement. Has anyone have experience with traveling to Europe or Italy and competing?

    Gen 2 Ruger 22 arc is amazing!!!!

    That's pretty awesome. I had a 1.0 in 5.56 and it shot terrible, but I might reconsider another if the 2.0 shoots that well. Can you get them without the spiral fluting?

    I have not had a chance to look through the ATACR, but I really like the 1-8x PLxC, and have one on a 14.5 BCM. Having some fun last month, shooting at 900 yards with the sun at my back, I could see the hits and misses with the 80ELD load.

    Help with a AR scatter gun

    My experience with a Daniel Defense 14.5" LW barrel was very good. Sub MOA out to 500 yards using handloads. I built the upper with a BCM receiver and an ALG rail The advice to check to clean it well and check the barrel bedding is a good idea. Also try some 69 or 77 grain Gold Medal Match.
