    I think I can live with velocity loss at 150-200fps.It's going to be a coyote rig. I think and am not sure, but should do well out to 600. I don't plan on shooting it without a can! I bet it would rattle my brains.

    ok. so it sounds like those of you that do have a 243 with a short barrel really like them. my Thunderbeast can should be here in a few months, ive been told that with a short barrel it wont be quiet. is that bull shit or true. i hope its bull shit otherwise whats the point.

    Thanks a bunch guys for the help. I'm going to stick with the good old 243 finished at 24 to 25". I'm just making this harder than it has to be! I was looking for something short to put a Thunderbeast 30ps on and not have the whole rig super long. I'm going to hunt with this rig so... It will work!

    I'm going to send my rig in for a new 243 barrel and while its there I though I might get a short 22-250 barrel as well. I'm thinking a 20" barrel for the 22-250 for hunting yotes. What do you guys think about switch barrels? Is that to short of a barrel for a 22-250? Thanks in advance Bob
