    XLR For Hunting

    Love my magnesium element, it’s my nrl light open rifle. Only draw back is it doesn’t fit well in any of my rifle scabbards but make it work. Ditch the sling, get the flush cup adapter from xlr and the obi system and thank me later

    What’s your favorite scope mount?

    I have their hunt rings on my nrl light gun, have the regular rings and one piece mounts on precision bolt guns and just got the cantilever for an AR. Absolutely beautiful machine work and the pins are a nice touch. Used a bunch of high end mounts and rings and these are definitely my favorite

    6 ARC powder consensus for heavies in AR

    4895 shot excellent in my 22 arc bolt gun. 3050 with 80.’s out of a 20’ barrel. I’m going to try it in my 6 arc with 105 hybrids once my seating die shows up

    These nrl hunter md’s get pretty tricky with their target arrays so even with a lrf it’s not hard to hit a piece of brush and not the plate. Agree though that’s why I like the 6 creed so much. You can hit rod it when needed or nice and slow and consistent when not.

    I agree for PRs it’s basically a non issue but field matches it still can be a benefit. I’m not advocating for chasing speed but it can be helpful at times to be shooting flatter

    This isn’t right 6 creed 109 lrht at 2950 is 6.85 at 1k At 3050 it’s 6.32 At 3150 it’s 5.84 100-200 fps is very significant it’s not a tenth in this caliber it’s 1.1 mils! I get what you’re saying running slower can be accounted for with good dope but a flatter shooting rifle can minimize...

    Maybe a dumb question but how do you delete a profile off the the vectors once they have been synced from ab? I synced an old profile by accident, deleted it from my ab profiles but is still showing on my vectors.

    Honestly the Splash here in the southwest isn’t hard to read but you can definitely can read the plate better impact wise with the 25/260.     I don’t have a 6.5 creed but have several 25 creeds 6 creeds and 6 dashers. I also have a 20’ 260AI. The 260 has been very impressive to me.     I didn’t say it wouldn’t and I would have no problem using a 6 creed on elk but out past 700 yards I want a little more displacement.
