    Remington M24 SWS

Actually, they are real commercial M24 barreled actions...Uncle Sugar still owns the original mil contract receivers for the M2010 rifle program. Also, you can by an off the shelf brand new M24 SWS.

    Remington M24 SWS

They are the real deal...they shoot too 10 rounds M118LR @100 yds Note how the receiver markings are offset on the M24. To replicate those markings on a standard Rem 700 would require an awful amount of work and the removed metal would be easily detectable.

Reproduction 1941 USMC CMP vintage sniper project

Cool rifle. That s/n is damn near end of production... last Rock Island Arsenal serial number was 430742, struck 31 July 1919.

    Gewehr 98 action

Yes...every component was numbered, down to the firing pin.

    USMC Remington 40x rimfire.

That looks like an old lyman super targetspot...you would need scope blocks to use that style of telescope. That is probably a CMP sales rifle...they were intended to be shot with the iron sights it is equipped with. It is yours and you can do whatever you want with it...I personally wouldn’t...

Gunsmithing Where to find Madsen M48 30-06 surplus rifle parts??

He sold the last of them on Gunbroker about a year ago. Those folks that shoot theirs bought several... if you try dropping a shell into the chamber and run the bolt home, sooner or later the extractor hook breaks clean off. The rifle has to feed from the magazine. Kind of a poor extractor...

    Can’t afford a copy or a clone but ....

Brother, what is your budget? LibertyArms has a .308 Win 700 for sale on the Firearms PX for $1700 that is about what you are looking for. If you aren’t set on a 700, there is an FN SPR A1 for sale for $1100 or best offer that is nice... the Firearms PX might save you some time and money in the...

Premium gunsmithery on a U.S. Springfield Armory M1898 Krag Jorgensen

There are 3 versions of Krag rifles...US, Norwegian and Danish. As an aside, Norway and Sweden were once the United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway from 1814-1905...and they shared the superb 6.5x55 service cartridge in their respective service rifles.

Why not just find a sporterized Norwegian Krag in 6.5x55?

Gunsmithing Where to find Madsen M48 30-06 surplus rifle parts??

Only about 6,000 Madsen M47 rifles were ever manufactured for the only contract received... from Colombia. Broken extractors are a common failure point on this model. There was a guy on Gunboards that made a small run of reproduction extractors 4-5 years ago for about $50 each, no idea if any...

    Steyr SSG 69

You will need to find a ZF 69 6x... one just sold in the optics PX. Go to the optics px and buy the kahles zf84 10x that rwsnyder is selling if is still there. It was one of the authorized SSG69 scopes but later than initial issue. You won’t find a cheaper one.

    Steyr SSG 69

I thought that CDNN had the SSG 69 PII in stock...they were the last of the new ones, model was retired in 2015. Your favorite firearms auction sites should have used SSG 69 rifles.

    Steyr SSG 69

I wonder if the SSG 69 is throated to handle a 190... OP, the 69 actually stands for the year 1969. Someplace in the deep recesses of my memory I seem to remember my shooting buddy trying 190s (Old Norma Match if I remember correctly) and the projectile jammed the lands. 168s and 175s should...

    Movie Theater Midway Movie

It is rather odd that two films about the Battle of Midway would come out within months of each other... Midway (8 Nov 19 release date) and Dauntless (1 Sep 19 release date).
