Yep - those are 2020 dates. My bad - Copy/pasted them in there, definitely understand how that can be confusing. Also can confirm the July 19th date - This is generally a monthly match (with occasional holiday exceptions, and barring COVID killing everyone).- J-Hon

How are you guys dealing with bedding the Tikka action lug into a stock? Skim bed the lug, skim bed the lug recess only, leave it bare, etc? Anyone specifically have experience with bedding into a KRG chassis and found any gotchas? I'm going to skim bed my Tikka into a KRG soon and thought...- J-Hon

What's the deal with Tikka?
I wanted an action that I could get pre-fits for, that KRG made a chassis for, and that worked. That last part I would highlight a couple times over as a defining characteristic not always found in actions/triggers regardless of price. The lower price was enough that I could spend more money...- J-Hon

You know what might be easier/cheaper to do? Just create a new page on the KRG site for an 'advanced technical manual'. That would be just as (if not more) usable to me than a hard copy manual (which I could always print), and assumedly something that you could author just as easily as typing...- J-Hon

Gas block leaking
@bigjake83 Question about the adhesive: What's it take to remove the gas block after doing this? Heat and a little bigger hammer, or such a pain in the ass you try to avoid it if at all possible?- J-Hon

Imported carbon fiber tripod (RT90C)
I am still new to tripods, help me understand: What's the compelling reason to go with the RT80/85 over the 90c model at all? Doesn't the 90c have a higher load rating / better stability, larger bowl (for more head options) and cost about the same?- J-Hon

@tinytigers That's an interesting observation about the light strike issue really just being caused by the bolt handle moving upwards. My rifle is also a really early serial number with the heavy bolt throw. Wouldn't mind experimenting with that this weekend. Can you reproduce the light...- J-Hon

Hunted in rain / snow / mud... doesn't get as dusty around here. This has been hunting around KY/OH/IN and TX, not some hardcore sheep hunt. Only mechanical issues I had were (very) early on, with my 6.5CM and light strikes (factory Hornady ammo). Nothing w/ my 308 barrel since then, and mine...- J-Hon
