Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

I'll keep updating since it seems to be a model that will be released soon, especially if there is enough interest. These appear to have zero coordinates entered from the factory, so I took my scope off the rifle and mounted it to my rigid test sled, zeroed it out on a target and then...

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

Just a heads up. They are closed for a 2 week summer vacation during the off season.

Night Vision Best scopes with clip ons?

Interesting. I wouldn't have guessed that the clip on could be made to work with different parallaxes, but maybe the thermals eyepiece can be made such that the light is focused in the scope correctly. In my mind, the image from the LPVO needs to be focused internally on the same vertical...

Night Vision Best scopes with clip ons?

I still have the G3 razor on a shelf and I could swap them easy enough, but the parallax issues I saw with the Razor have me skeptical. Were you able to dial the parallax out with the XTRii? I believe my primary rig will still wear the NX8/xELR combo. The AR with the XTRii/SY-C will be a...

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

You're aware that my only real complaint with the previous one was the digital zoom. (Mostly just confusion about why mine didn't work while others did) I had some issues keeping it zero'd initially also, but I worked those out. This model doesn't have digital zoom, but it appears what they...

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

I spoke with Kirsch via pm already, and all I can say is that I specifically asked Bering in an E-mail if this was a production model and was told that this as well as the previous one would be in the 2022-23 lineup. I apologize if I've caused confusion and will cease with the updates.

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

I was able to internally save pics and videos and view them later on the InfiniRay outdoors app last night.

Night Vision Best scopes with clip ons?

Has anybody tried a Burris XTRii with a clip on? I've got a 3-15 on my AR that I might throw the new SY-C on. They have a nice reticle and are pretty rugged, although the glass is kind of meh. I didn't know if it was worth spending the $200 for an objective mount or not.

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

Here's some poor cell phone pics. If you look at the 8x horse, it will give you an idea of how tight the pixels are Horses @40yds on 2.5x Horse @40yds on 8x a Deer and 2 fawns @500yds on 8xa These are much sharper in the scope. Look at how blurry the reticle is for reference.

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

False alarm.... I found the zero menu. Still lots of other cool new stuff added though.

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

I regularly shot on 12x with the old one. I haven't been outside with this yet, but zooming in on the icons, it's a noticable difference.

Night Vision Super Yoter C - Any Experience Yet?

I received the latest model SY-C as a replacement tonight. There appear to be significant revisions. 3 of the most notable are a rear eyepiece that isn't removable, I believe it has full 1280 screen resolution in clip on mode, and the absence of a zeroing menu. The scanner mode is gone, along...

Night Vision Any Regrets w your purchases?

This story sounds familiar. Damn quick to cash your check. Damn sure don't want to let go of the money once it's in their account, even after the defective shit you got has been returned over 6 weeks earlier. In a day where checks can be electronically cashed within minutes, you'd think a...

Night Vision EOTECH CLIP ON THERMALS ( Full details)

Exactly. I had well over a mil of parallax (reticle shift from moving your head) with my Yoter-C/1-10 G3 Razor combo. That's a minimum of a 4" shift at a 100yd target just from moving your head. The purpose of a parallax adjustment is to ensure that the reticle is on the same plane as the...

Night Vision EOTECH CLIP ON THERMALS ( Full details)

I'm impressed and disappointed at the same time. Impressed it's that close by just slapping it on. Disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a way to correct it. 1.5" low is no where near close enough for "long range" shooting without further adjustments. As long as it's consistent and...

Night Vision EOTECH CLIP ON THERMALS ( Full details)

Nice group. The first time it went right, now it went about 1.25" left. There's a lot of other variables in play with a tripod and high winds, so hopefully those are what's causing the shifts. I really want to get one of these on my test rig to remove the variables and see what makes them work!

Night Vision EOTECH CLIP ON THERMALS ( Full details)

That's the way I read it also. It certainly looks like some kind of adjustment is necessary though because those groups should stack on top of each other, regardless of how far the day scope zero is off. @Bravo6niner nice groups from standing tripod btw.

Night Vision EOTECH CLIP ON THERMALS ( Full details)

That's not a terrible POI shift for just slapping it on, but is there a way to "zero" the Clip IR to reduce it?

Night Vision EOTECH CLIP ON THERMALS ( Full details)

I've got a deposit on one also based on the understanding that they don't require a manual calibration like my SY-C does, although I'd really like to know how it works if they don't. I'm not sure if that question ever got cleared up either. I think Preston and Dan are planning some more...
