    That’s really cool to see someone adapting one of the ultra-mags to the modern sleek bullets of today. I’ve been doing that with the 7 SAUM to a small extent and want to play with my 300 WSMs here soon. The RUM cartridges must be vicious when tuned correctly.

    If you can get onto a military base, the commissaries usually sell them individually or by the case. They’re no bargain at ~$12/MRE or ~$120/case but it might save you on shipping/tax.

    Unfortunately, I only shot the cold soaked ammo at 100 yards and was mostly interested in getting velocity data off of it.     Luckily no. My oopsie was with a bare barrel Browning A-Bolt. Definitely wouldn't want to do that with a can on. Might get away with it with just a brake.
