    Yeah I was a little surprised that there were several different screw sizes when taking mine apart but not the end of the world. Kind of makes it pointless having a 4mm hex key hidden in the stock if you also need 3mm and 2.5. But at the end of the day I got the AXSR stock so y’all go be poor...

    I think it’s barrel specific. I recently just started loading again for 6.5 too. 24” bartlein…..same as all my previous ones. All of my precious barrels my load was between 42-42.6 H4350. Giving me right around 2750 Loaded up this barrel with 41.5 and got 2740 right out the gate so this barrel...

    Bought my AX in 2018 and the bolt never stopped on any empty mags. But it never had a feeding issue either like the AT-X.

    Very similar to the 450’s. In fact, I’d be surprised if you saw any velocity or SD difference over the 450’s. Good to go.

    Just a quick update on the magazine issue. Received my 2 mags back today from AI. Not sure what they did as I didn’t really take measurements but they both fit much better (tighter with less slop) and feed perfectly so far on both 6.5CM and 6GT.

    I just worked my load up today with those. 24” Bartlein 7.5 twist. Berger 109 hybrids. Alpha brass, CCI 450’s and Varget. 33.4 gives me 2855 with an SD of 4-6

    AT all day. As mentioned, the quick change is nice and better mags. Not to mention more after market add-ons like the AO chassis, AX stock, grip mods. Easier pre fit barrels and so on. Just spend the money and never think about it again. Trust me, it’s worth it!

    That’s odd because from my experience and those that I regularly shoot with the GT is one of the easiest cartridges to load for. Most shoot the 105 hybrids of 109 hybrids and those are not very jump sensitive at all. I’ve went through several barrels now and haven’t had to tweak a load yet...
