    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

this is the beauty of the Valkyrie very fast follow up shots. Mine is heavy as hell and has a 24”barrel and a 419 brake on it.. it doesn’t move at all. I really want to do the same thing with the arc, but I can’t lie that part of me wants to wait for a rarely used craddock valk barrel to pop...

    Gas Gun Precision Loads

if I shot bench rest I would turn necks. I don’t think my group size has no bearing on my ability to hit long range. I have rifles that shoot right at 1moa I have taken well past 1k with factory ammo. I have to weigh the time invested vs the outcome and neck turning has never been worth it to...

    Gas Gun Precision Loads

If there is only that amount of variance I think you can rule out the bullet. I think you can add a big variable in your chronograph. V3 magneto is nice I switched to LabRadar and didn’t look back (I shoot other things besides rifles also). Both are a large step up over chrono with screens...

    Gas Gun Precision Loads

I simply refuse to turn necks even on my precision bolt guns. I think your overthinking it. I would check ogives on bullets first if they are consistent then I would look at neck tension; if all that checks out I would consider the primer.

260rem or 6.5 Creedmoor for PRS?

Hey I still have a soft spot in my heart for the 260 and still have a factory tikka and a factory 700 chambered in it. I also have a Springfield 30-40 Krag and a colt saa in 38-40...

    Gas Gun Precision Loads

I don’t think a primer can cause a spread of 50fps but I’m sure it’s possible. Neck tension seating depth or a bad lot of bullets would be my guess. I have had lots of Berger’s that would lay them one on top of the other at 100 yards and have an insane amount of spread. When I investigated...

260rem or 6.5 Creedmoor for PRS?

I ran 260 for years but there is no sense in not running the 6.5 creed. Brass availability, factory ammo availability, feeding, bullet length issues many other reasons I'm sure.

    Gas Gun Precision Loads

I use it before just to get the neck uniform and get out the dings on gas guns. Edit I use mine like you on my LR bolt guns it’s setup after sizing and before powder. Edit 2.. I also use the sinclair on new brass before I ever size it (or on any "once fired" brass off the exchange).

    Gas Gun Precision Loads

One thing I left out that I do on every piece of brass before it gets put in my dillon, I have a seperate redding T7 press with a sinclair expanding mandrel with an Oring to make it float that I use on every piece of brass to make everything start out on an even footing. If I dont use that...

    Gas Gun Precision Loads

I honestly do hardly any prep at all for my gas gun stuff I tumble it and size it with a wilson sizing die and dump powder through a powder die with on a dillon 550 progressive using a chargemaster... I seat with a forster seater. I honestly dont even sort my brass on gas guns I just buy the...

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

https://seekinsprecision.com/modern-sporting-rifles/dmr-1.html Seekins gets into the 6arc game. Edit also apparently Craddock precision starting preorders next week.

I guess all your AR-15s are "obsolete" now. Time to start dumping your 5.56 rifles, lol

I own a couple of ar’s in 6.5creed and a couple in 224valk and a couple in 6.5g I will make one in 6arc just because it’s so damn cheap to do, if I like the performance out to about 1200 then I may invest in something better than a ba barrel. I keep spare bolts on all my ar’s oddly enough the...

    New 6mm Advanced Rifle Cartridge

Given the bolt issues what would be the reasonable high pressure that the ar platform can hit and not worry about breaking bolts. Is 52k really the safe ceiling?

Suggestions on Factory AR-10 in 6.5cm

Ive had my seekins for a couple of weeks now, it’s not the fastest barrel in the world (not tikka slow...) but it basically likes any bullet I cram in it. 130s and 140s shoot lights out, 143 and the 147 opens up a little but still well under moa. I honestly dont think you can get better or...
