    I have a Stiller Tac 338 in an MDT ESS chassis and I quite like it. They don't advertise it as available for the Tac 338 inlet anymore, I don't think, but you could always reach out to them and see if they still have some in stock.

    Shorty Rifle cartridge options

    6.5 Creed just for availability of components and factory ammo. I've got an 18" that I really like. Pushes 140 ELDMs at 2650 and is nice and compact with a folder on it. Might try some 130s to get the speed up but all my 6.5s like the 140s and it's nice just having one load for multiple guns.

    As to the Surgeon, they are nice actions but it is hard to find chassis inlet for them. A buddy of mine has one in a Manners stock. I'm not sure who actually makes chassis for them, I know MDT doesn't as I was trying to help another buddy of mine find a chassis for his Surgeon a few months ago.

    Depends on what your intended use is (bench/range, field, etc) but I like keeping mine a bit lighter for field use. I'm using a 3-12 LRTSi but out of your choices I'd go 4-16 ATACR, save the weight and length vs the 4-20.
