    Re-chamber resource, front range Colorado.

I haven't used this guy yet but he shoots benchrest competitions so he might be good at chambering a barrel. He's located near Loveland. https://s3gunsmithing.com/

Anyone use Silica Gel Packets-Desiccant Packs to keep moisture out of powder?

Powder needs some amount of moisture in order to get the correct burn rate. I use humidity control packs to maintain the humidity. I use the 49% packets https://bovedainc.com/

    6.5 Creed build - Impact 737r, pre-fit mfg, profile?

I have an Impact 737R action and it looks to me like the striker/firing-pin is pulled back 100% on bolt open.

    6.5 Creed build - Impact 737r, pre-fit mfg, profile?

Would you mind explaining how the Impact is a 50/50 cock on open?

    Target interpretation help.

I agree with your thoughts. Also, 43.6 to 44.2 seem to have a similar point of impact. It this a 308 Win?

    ES of 97?

I sometimes put cartridges in my pants pocket to keep them warm. Maybe I'll try your suggestion next time. Should get some looks from other shooters. 😄😂🤣

    Reloading Help Needed

How many rounds fired make up each SD and ES?

    ES of 97?

Virgin brass could be the problem in a couple different ways. The dimensions on new brass typically do not match your chamber and resizing die. The other thing is new, clean, brass neck and bullet can form a welding action to where the bullet is stuck to the brass .

    Remington 700 Failure to Fire

I have an experiment idea to try. Seat a bullet long in an empty case so that the bolt does the final seating. Then try the trigger. I'm wondering if the loaded cartridge is putting enough force back into the bolt to where the cocking piece is engaging the top sear in the trigger more.

    Rounds not chambering

Neck thickness should not have changed much, if any. I wonder what is causing the neck opening to get expanded. What is the length of the cases you haven't loaded, but have been resized? If the case length is longer than the chamber I would suspect that you could chamber an empty case...

    Rounds not chambering

One area that I'm wondering about is the edge/mouth of the case neck looking expanded. If it is actually a larger diameter than the case neck then it would be possible to chamber the case without the bullet and then have difficulty chambering with the bullet.

    Remington 700 Failure to Fire

In your description of the firing pin remaining back when you pull the trigger, if it's not moving at all I'd think it is due to the trigger. When you disassembled the bolt did you remove the firing pin from the cocking piece and shroud? If so, did you try running the firing pin into the...

Advice needed regarding the value of a Remington 700 5R .308 barreled action.

I'd start out at $1000 for the package. As a non-FFL individual, the only way you can ship it is to an FFL and you have to use USPS. UPS and FedEx won't ship a rifle for an individual.

    Brass life and inspection

I guess I should have mentioned that what I was suggesting was with Lapua brass. Thanks for clarifying. I have had the same, or worse, experiences with Hornady brass as you have.

    .308 how accurate?

Your load performance will depend more on what the rifle likes. Here's an example of a 308 Win I've been developing a load for. It has taken me 100+ rounds to get to this point. My next trip out to the range will be to see if I can repeat anywhere close to this. (the picture is a 3-shot group...
