    Hornady makes a 88 eld seating stem and maybe a 75 as well. I use the one made for 88s with everything 75gr bthp, 77 smk, 80 smk, 80.5 berg, 85.5 berg, no issues. https://a.co/d/6844dJl I also have struggled to get the 75 eld to shoot in a Bartlein that shoots literally everything else tight...

    Agreed, this particular rifle has just had a cheap 1x4 on it as a place holder for awhile, I can actually get it done decently on steel but it's time for an upgrade to a 1x6 or 1x8 with a better reticle.

    Another trip out with the 16" ballistic advantage stainless SPR barrel, 1/8 midlength gas. Gusty L-R 8 - 15 mph 4x optic with 2 moa center dot 101y 53 degrees F Orange dots are 3" Gonna play with seating depth on the 62 fmj on a calmer day, seems to shoot about the same no matter the powder...

    I have indeed which is why I am not settling on the higher ones. I just wanted to get a feel for the powder and find where the pressure starts.

    Brass looked good, primers were just barely starting to flatten at the top end. Based on the feel of the primer pockets of the Fed brass I am using, I could see 3-4 firings on it at least.

    I believe I have. Pretty much all charges shot almost exactly the same. I want to try something more than a 4x optic with a 2 moa dot. They all shoot right around 2 moa at 100y.

    Out with the 16" Ballistic Advantage stainless SPR 62gr Hornady FMJ w/ cannelure Tac Fed brass CCI 41s Shot with a 4x lpvo 2 moa center dot so happy with the bullet so far at 101y.

    I knew this would be challenging for some of you. Of the existing mil reticle lpvos of 1x6 or 1x8 magnification, which have thinner reticles? Easy question.

    Which lpvo have the thinnest crosshairs? I'm a target guy at heart and need thin crosshairs. I like the Viper pst2 reticle and the Primary Arms Nova. I prefer mils. Any suggestions on a thinner reticle?

    Back out again with Varget and 77gr SMKs. They ran a touch slower, liked max mag length the best which is easy. Getting some crunch with 24 grs, noticed seating depth was a little less consistent because of that, May bump back to 23.8-9. Would probably put me right around 2700 fps.

    22.8gr AR Comp, 24gr Varget, mk262 is probably using a ball double base powder bur I don't know.

    I have a Tikka single stage that a smith got down pretty low. It's very light and crisp, haven't measure it but wouldn't go any lighter. It's been safe, shot it a lot. I'd guess right around 1.5 lbs.

    Tested out some Varget/Hornady 75gr bthps with the 18" White Oak. 24grs, varying seating depths. Apparently seating depth matters with my barrel. Was getting some crunch with 24.0grs which was a little odd but maybe I need to shake the case a bit when throwing powder. Shoots nice though and...

    I got to 2750 with 22.8gr of AR Comp, don't need or want to go much hotter than that for my purposes. What's your velocity with 23.2 of Comp?
