    Most optics have an offset on the AR platform. Training and learning your offset isn't a big deal. It depends on your zero for the optic, but knowing you have a x" offset is a non issue with some training.

    Magpul MOE PR Stock

    Get some adhesive backed velcro strips. Cut a small piece on the soft side and stick it to the top of the buffer tube. It will get rid of any slop and rattle. Makes the stock a little stiff to adjust for a while but it works.

    I would see if you can find schematics for the M&P. It should show a different part number if they are using a different extractor for 9 and 40. It should be a simple swap if they are different and one can be obtained.
