    Bushnell Fusion X bino/rangefinder

    My first pair of them had the blue tint to the glass, like the old versions. The replacement pair that I received did not have that same tint. The glass in them is pretty good, I don't think it's too far behind the forge that you'd be disappointed.

    Springfield 2020 Waypoint?

    I've only handled one in the shop. Priced at $1,899 for the non adjustable/carbon barrel, it's more than reasonable to me. Fit and finish looked fine, action felt good. IF I needed a lightweight prc, I'd have no problem buying this.

    To me, the 15x forge glass is better. This glass still has a blue'ish hue like my old fusions did. Not a deal breaker, and the glass is still very useable.

    I ordered a mag from them for my tikka. Took 6 months for it to show up and never worked as well as a factory mag. Communications were poor, product was poor. I just chalked it up as a lesson learned. Sounds like you've learned the same lesson.

    I'm a big fan of the Kenai Peninsula. I don't know much about hunting opportunities, but the fishing on the Russian, Kenai, Kasilof rivers are great, as well as ocean fishing from Ninilchik to Homer.

    Bushnell LRTS vs. ?

    The meopta optika6 3-18x56 is a good comparison. I currently use both. The bushnell sits on my 6.5prc hunting gun and the meopta is on a b14r 22 since it will focus below 25yds.

    Who’s your preferred custom rifle builder?

    I've had Mac's Gunworks out of Gillette, WY do several as well as MS Precision in North Mississippi. I plan on having Manzella Precision out of Montana do my next one.
