Rifle Scopes Thinking about that Athlon Midas Tac 5 x 25

The 3-18 has some great features, much like the midas. The zero stop is good, I like the fact I have to pull up to unlock the elevation turret and press to lock, capped windage is a must for me. The reticle has a great sized center aiming dot, though I don't love the stadia from dead center out...

Rifle Scopes Thinking about that Athlon Midas Tac 5 x 25

I can't tell you 'ya or na' on the midas, though I like the scope on paper. However, to throw another wrench in the mix would be an Arken sh4 6-24 (which I have on order) or the meopta optika 6 5-30 (currently use the optika6 3-18x56 on my nrl22 gun)

Movie Theater Cobra Kai on netflix today

I've finished the 2 seasons. Really enjoyed it. I relate more than I thought to Johnny... His one liner jabs are hilarious.

    Anybody reload 6 PRC?

I think sending 115gr bullets around 3300fps sounds pretty awesome. It's not a prc, but check out the sherman 6sst. https://shermanwildcatcartridges.com/6-sst

Rifle Scopes A scope similar to Optika6 3-18?

The bushnell lrhs 4.5-18 may be close. I've got the lrhs and the optika6. I like the bushnell better while hunting, but the optika6 fits the need on my 22lr perfectly.

Hunting & Fishing Well, when things do not go as planned...

I can relate on several levels. Thanks for posting.

    Suppressors Bulk subsonic 22lr

I buy the eley outlaw 42gr from Killough Shooting Sports, it's $4.25 per box, and I get a couple thousand at a time. They shoot fantastic out of my cz457 and t1x.

    Masterpiece Arms

I think you're talking about their production class rifle, yes, that has less action features. The standard BA that I bought is a full blown axiom.

    Masterpiece Arms

I bought the 6.5ba almost 2yrs ago, and it has been fantastic. Mine came with the Curtis action, and a triggertech. Back then, my FFL sold it to me for just a fuzz over $2,500. Dollar for dollar, it's hard to beat.

BBQ- what’s going on your grill this weekend

I'm using the Anova Sous Vide. You are correct, no need to vacuum seal, I dunk standard ziplocks in the water pot to push out the air. Works just as well. About the only time I use the foodsaver is for freezing the meats.

BBQ- what’s going on your grill this weekend

I'm a Sous Vide + Smoke kind of guy- In the past few days, I've done Duck Breast, Whitetail Backstraps, Beef Ribs, Chicken Quarters, and Steaks. Even though I'm a terrible cook, the Sous Vide make it easy.

Maggie’s Can Am vs Honda ATVs?

I grew up working in my friend's honda shop here in MS. They are, as you said, no frills, reliable atv. I owned a 2009 outlander 800 and it was an amazing atv, when I could keep it working.... As noted above, I had electrical issues, that never seemed to get fixed at the dealer, more like band...

    Ammo consistency comparison

I'm pretty excited about the 42gr outlaw stuff. I shot a few rounds at my 175yd plate and printed a nice 1.5" 5 shot group. It's also cool that it was 8/10ths less drop than my normal CCI SV dope.
