    RFI - AR-10, 16+" bbl, <8 lbs

    I have a Faxon barrel in .308 that I am happy with. Their 18 in fluted 6.5CM shows as 2.33lbs and 20" 2.52. Then figure about 1 lbs for an Aluminum handguard, etc. Should be do-able, depending on the optic weight.

    Lee Classic cast iron single stage is the cheapest option, especially if you order as the ".50 BMG press" so that it comes with the dies.     Dillon 600 Super Swedge question

    Plate on the bottom has 2 screw that take 3/32 hex. That plate should be covering a spring that is .200 dia and .75 uncompressed and approx .30 when compressed. Hole on the side of the swagger that takes a 1/8 hex will lock the height to where you want it for the case size that you are processing.

    Dillon 600 Super Swedge question

    It should spring up and down, and you tighten the screw to lock in the adjustment for what diameter of brass you are swaging. But they do get sticky and it is not the strongest spring in the first place.

    I have tried Titeground in both .308 and .223. Kind of a novelty thing, but repeatable accuracy once you figure out the drop for a distance. I found accuracy was best using flat based bullets, perhaps because they are shorter/more stable for the weight? So 180gn round nose, flat based based...

    10Lbs of RL26 (stuck in Canada)

    Just FYI.... The Limited Quantity exemption/sticker is not going to work under US Hazmat regs, even if it might happen to be OK in Canada. For the US portion of the trip, you do need someone to generate the actual hazmat paperwork. Normally, that is prohibitively expensive.

    Thoughts on annealing 5.56 ammo for AR15

    I anneal .223/5.56 after reloading 3 times or so to prevent split necks at around 4 or 5 times. But do the annealing prior to resizing. Resizing will harden the neck slightly so it will not be too soft and have too little tension.
