Rifle Scopes Economical quality scope for .308 build

Problem with the Zeiss is it will probably have limited MOA in it maybe 50 moa and I am thinking that your custom .308 will be capable out to 900-1000 yards. The zeiss wont have matching turrets nor will it be FFP. I would get the SWAFA variable 3-15x42 with FFP mil turrets and mil reticle...

    Big bore short action?

The .375 WSM is a really nice round similar to .308 trajectory when using the 260 gr Nos accubond (compared with 168gr loads).

221 fireball in a short barrel

Folks just a quick question (seeing as this is a .221 FB thread)on a light .221 fb cz527 would you rather a 4-16x50 PST or the 2.5-10x32 PST And your reason please

    Super Chrono?

It would seem that the magneto is the best for use with ballistics program's as most use velocity figures based from the muzzle. Also ease of set up and not being picky seem like massive benefits. Is there something I am missing ?

The ultimate long range coyote rifle - stretched it out a little

    Rifle Scopes Optic selection help.

Vortex 6-24x50 PST MIL/MIL FFP might work nicely for you.

221 fireball in a short barrel

Very good you will have a nice rifle !! What I liked about the CZ is it has a 1-12" twist enabling one to shoot the 55gr pills if they wish (which I prefer for my purposes) and it seems easiert to get cheap 50-55gr pills over lighter ones I found.

Rifle Scopes Spuhr mount for TRG42 with USO Tpal

Rifle Scopes only 8th in line? Really?

My thoughts are the beast should have been higher mag ratio like 3-30x with same elevation and they should have released a 22x F1

Rifle Scopes 22 Trainer FFP Scope $800-900

The 4-16 PST is a good one for when you dont want to spend 3k but still want FFP, Ilum, MIL/MIL, reasonable zerostop (CRS works as advertised) and the clicks really are distinct for a scope at this price point.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor 5-20 vs U.S. Optics 5-25??

Of those 2 I'd keep the USO. Probably would keep the Vortex as well to have on hand...................you will buy another buy Rifle.......eventually :)

Rifle Scopes Super Sniper 3-15 vs Vortex Viper PST 4-16

I can say the zero stop on the 4-16 PST despite being simplistic works as advertised and the clicks are very positive for a scope in this price range. I'd like to look through the 6-24 PST.

Rifle Scopes Scope on a tight budget

The problem with the Meopta 4-16 mentioned is I think it has limited elevation travel, something in the vicinity of 45 moa. I would suggest saving a little more and buying a used Vortex Razor 5-20x50, they are FFP, illuminated, Zero Stop heaps of available elevation and rugged. I doubt there is...

Where can one purchase the kahles flip up covers ?

Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper PST alternatives

Interestingly enough I have looked through two 4-16 PST FFP's now, a friend got one and the glass did look a little worse after 10-12x and my own which does not. I was expecting it to given what I had read here. But keep in mind that despite the glass looking a little hazier at the higher end it...

    Eberlestock Dry Earth Cerakote?

I reckon duracote flat dark earth matches well if that's any help.

Rifle Scopes What size tube would you prefer on your new scope? 30/34mm

Aesthetically I like 34mm........it's the new 30mm. I don't like the look of 1" scope tubes any more. Even if they do make sense.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Viper PST alternatives

I dont think there is another option at that price point.

Rifle Scopes Super Sniper 3-15 vs Vortex Viper PST 4-16

It would be the best way of doing the zero stop it and keeping at the price point.....had a friend getting into shooting recently, and he has purchased the PST 4-16 FFP, I wish they had been around when I got into shooting as now he gets to experience the "smarts" of a FFP MIL/MIL ZS system...
