    I used to have a Luepold Vari-X 3 (I think that was the designation) 8-25 but it didn’t have much available elevation. And was SFP but this was nearly 30 years ago and before I saw the light. But the image was excellent. Was fun on the prairie dog fields in SD.

    Scope had about nine black specks in the image that would not fall free from an internal lense. Probably grease. Was bummed as soon as I put my eye to it. Eurooptic promptly replaced it.

    You’re welcome. Just wanted to add that unless you have the S&B side-by-side with the ZP5, you aren’t going to notice any degradation in glass quality between the two. But you might notice a loss of FOV. I am getting 8.4 mils of reticle visible below center when zoomed to 25 power in the ZP5...

    Is there anything more rewarding than seeing new shooters discover the fun of accurate and easy shooting rifles? Got to go shooting with my niece and nephew over the holidays and they had a ball shooting milk jugs with my 22 and 223. Pretty sure they are hooked.

    My replacement one arrived today. Really digging the TR2ID reticle. I know it might not be Tangent grade but it’s the best I’ve had and I absolutely love it. IQ is on par with my ZP5’s but I have more confidence in the S&B.
