"Garand thumb" and FX air rifles on Youstubes.

It would have been a lot more "informational" if they'd at least given the model of the rifle. I'm guessing it's the Panthera.

    Long COAL .223 Gas Gun

If this is what you desire it makes more sense just to build a bolt gun. Ten round magazines are already available versus trying to deal with feeding from .308 length magazines with incorrect, for cartridge, followers.

Failure to Fire / Light Strikes when reloading .223 on a Dillon 550

I don't want to muddy the water too much but what generation is your Nucleus? There were a few people saying that the Gen. 1 wouldn't light off rounds consistently with the 16lb. spring in the bolt. I've never had any trouble myself although I bought the 19 and 21 (?) lb. springs in case.

Do you load for a Uintah Precision bolt upper? (Maybe in 6mm ARC?)

Read the 1st post, using CCI 400s? https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/6mm-arc-bolt-gun-loadings.7158760/

Developing a load for your gas gun, with or without suppressor?

Just as the title says. I'm curious because I only have one can, a TBAC Ultra 9, and I get a lot of carbon back into the action of the Aero .308 i built. I'm thinking I should just use the .30 cal Area 419 brake I have and then remove it from the adapter and mount the can. What's your procedure?

    Replacement for 8208 XBR IN AR-15 ?

Have you tried using the reloading group in the Discord server? That's how I got some although I agree that it seems like there's one shipment per year and once it's gone, wait another.

    What about FN .264 LICC?

If this ends up a reality, (AR12.5 or whatever, medium frame) I would hope to see new cartridges holding the OAL around 2.500 with a max mag length of 2.600. It would be nice to get something right from the start, lol.

    New build, tried something different

    X-Caliber. Thanks.

    New build, tried something different

I decided to build a 20" .308 but went with an odd combination. It is a +2 gas system, fluted, cryo treated, X-caliber in an SPR contour with a 1:9 twist. I already had the lower. It's an M5E1 Aero upper. The handguard in also Aero and the SA agb is sticking out a bit from the rail even...

    Newbie

    Welcome!

    What cartridge?

Interesting because mine hates the factory 88 ammo. I have a bunch of 88s still but haven't tried to work up a load.

    What cartridge?

Well, if you do a Valkyrie again I would say get a Craddock Precision barrel. Then try and work up to 28 grains of CFE223 pushing 85.5 Bergers.

That's 4350, I need H1000, even though I also need bullets and .300 NM brass. But thanks for the tip on shipping to the store. Somewhere I have a BPS cash card too.

Optics Blurry - Are My Eyes Going Bad?

I had a good old Soviet precursor to Lasik. My myopia turned into being far-sighted. So now my prescription is essentially for strong + prescription "readers". If I wear prescription glasses I have to readjust the ocular compared to wearing contact lenses and clear shooting glasses. You are...

Suppressors TBAC Ultras and Dominus now have the HUB threads

You can buy an adapter (looks like a single port brake) for the can from Area 419 and then use their adapter for their muzzle brake on your barrels if you go CB. It's cheaper than buying 3 CB muzzle brakes or flash hiders.

    Barrett MRAD Questions

I was going to purchase either an MRAD or an AXMC. Ended up going with the AI because quite frankly after however many years of not being able to buy things right away, AI made more sense. If there was more support for the Barrett I'd have bought one. It didn't make much sense to me to buy...
