    Rifle Scopes $700 scope comparison

For the cost I'd go Athlon, I have midas tac, Ares, and Cronus models. All work well and I haven't had an issue with any of them them. I have an Ares 2.5-15 on my air rifle at this point, it's also been on a hunting rifle. I like the reticles and illumination works for FFP in hunting...

Rifle Scopes Why isn’t Meopta Included among the Best?

Or they just have better glass and better reticles. I'd buy an Athlon Cronus over the Meopta, better glass IMO and I prefer the reticles.

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Why spend 150 dollars when it isn't necessary? :) Dampens recoil better than aluminum too.

Maybe for one of those foo foo drinks, actual coffee isn't that much.

I decided I'd mock an arm up in Hickory tonight. Took me about 20 minutes, I've got a few clamps for my photo work so didn't have to buy anything. A couple 1/4-20 bolts and I'm in for pennies. :)

22 pcp for back yard shooting?

Mine is really quiet now, and I have no problem hitting a one inch target at 50 yards, haven't stretched it out further yet.

22 pcp for back yard shooting?

I've dropped squirrels and starlings with head shots at 50 yards with a benjamin cayden, it was a bit loud without a moderator. Quiet now :)

Yep, I was thinking I'd take one of my extra clamps for photography and attach it to a piece of hickory to screw with those that think you need something special. I could easily notch it on the table saw for anti twist too. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Yea, two screws in line, many of the rails have a slot, those that don't can be drilled. Aluminum rail, it is pretty easy to drill a hole and thread for a screw. even a caveman can do it. Not sure why you'd need that interface to connect a short arca rail?

I'm sure it's a knockoff of the RRS clamp, about $100 cheaper.

Is the ARMS-17 interface the groove that keeps it from turning? Don't know of another plate with that interface, that being said you can still clamp it to a flat rail.

How do you like the leophoto dual clamp. Saw those the other day when I was googling clamps. I like have the option for arca/picatinney.

Just don't use the area 419 rail, any flat rail will work with the RRS clamp. Lots of options to keep the chrono from turning can be DIY'd. Velcro, rubber tabs, grip tape, epoxy a wedge on one side, etc....

I was thinking the same thing, already have a couple extra clamps but I did see that leophoto makes a combo arca/picatinney clamp too.

Give it to a friend, that's what I plan to do with mine.

    Tikka durability question

Sensitive aren't you. :). What do you expect when you jump in every Tikka thread to bash them. I'd guess if it happened to me I'd take them to court and get something done about it.

    Tikka durability question

Yet I can get prefits from several different sources. I've only put 5 prefits on a tikka action, none have had headspace issues.

    Tikka durability question

Wondered how long it would take you to post this up? Pay BBB money and you can have the best rating available, a BBB rating is pointless.

    Tikka durability question

I've got one tikka that has a few thousand rounds through it shooting matches. Never had a problem with the bolt handle. I did lose a bolt stop pin once and replaced it with a drill bit I cut off. Never had an issue with them. LRI isn't making Tikka bolts anymore, never said why just stopped.
