If a .22, maybe a CZ in a chassis that you can adjust easily with growth. Easy to upgrade with barrels, triggers, etc. Centerfire? Can't get comfortable on my ranges shooting tables...
A lot of ranges have the concrete blocks for the uprights, taking the easy road with full blocks vs. using a 4" cap. I despise those tops that have what I call "Fudd" shapes to them. New Ruger Precision Rifles?
Out of curiosity, anyone shooting one of these rifles? The newest version, appears they have changed a few things on them. If you reload and can find H4895, pair it with Sierra 125 Pro Hunter and follow the Hodgdon reduced load data. When the kids were starting out, I had a short stocked/barrel .308, made some nice mild loads going right about 2200. If you don't want to reload, you may be able to find the factory...- mark5pt56

AT-x--6BR magazines?
First time out last week with the GO mags. I had to adjust the catch on the magazines to raise the mag up as the last 5 in the mag would have bolt overs. Very slow bolt closure occasionally caused a misfeed.- mark5pt56

Okie, tks. How is the height on those? If you don't mind, the height of your rifle? Looks like if I don't fold, the AG or Creedmoor would work. Guessing the foam is closed cell on the AG, Creedmoor? I would only fold if I went with the 42 Triad.- mark5pt56
