Bullet runout worse by using an expander mandrel?

why do you need to have die free-floating? is not your brass free-float? if your brass is free-floating, why do you need also the die free-floating?

Bullet runout worse by using an expander mandrel?

because you read american bullshit. runout doesnt matter. and mandrells are stupid. if you want better die for neck runout, you can try Forster costum FL die from Henke-online with ~0.002' of neck tension.

    Viht N-160 vs N-555

you are about 0,1% of shooters who know it's stuff.

    Viht N-160 vs N-555

dont mistook powder temperature sensitivity with your lousy cleaned barrels, because if your barrel is not cleaned with abrasives, your velocity because of the rough barrel will INCREASE !

    Too Late to Anneal Brass?

just use bullets instead of mandrells and pins and you will be fine. you dont need to buy and do all this idiotic things that others do.

    Too Late to Anneal Brass?

ARE YOU SERIOUS? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 when brass is work HARDENS, it is more HARD! so it means it has more spring back. and with annealing you make it softer - more ductile, so plastic deformation is at lower force. this is exact science, and anything beond 0.001-2' of 'neck tension' is plastic deformation...

    Too Late to Anneal Brass?

pin gauges are the stupidest thing in modern reloading, just like mandrells...

    Viht N-160 vs N-555

I use only N555 in 284WIN, but I expect to be N160 1-2gr slower than N555 in my gun. If this help...

    Too Late to Anneal Brass?

you dont need to anneal to win EVERY match. you need to anneal to have longer life of your brass.

I'll Post This Here - Hornady's Podcast #50. I thought it was one of their best, but some reloaders might not like what they see....

john masek is on right track to cut off the bullshit and retarded 0.003'' increments. but he still uses word 'node' and looks for it. but he will learn... i believe in him.

Powder v. Bullet v. Barrel Relationship

    1. YES, but people like to run faster powders than slower. look at tables of powders used on some competitions. quite fast powders for the bullet. but NOT too fast ! just fast from all options. 2. NO ? 3. NO! it's a myth that wont die.

How much do dies really matter in accuracy?

totaly wrong. runout doesnt matter. and second: runout is not induced by seating phase, but with sizing phase. and all of 'inline' seating dies has tight chamber for brass and bullet, not only arbor seating die.

Help Me Improve. How to Get More Precise?

about annealing you are right about longer brass life. I was just saying that annealing will not get you better PRECISION. but mandrells are useless step. it is this decade when everybody is saying that manderlls are the best for precision. like previous decade was neck sizing and runout...
